Grave of the Fireflies (1988)

For all intents and purposes, this is a proper Studio Ghibli film that for licensing reasons doesn't fall under GKids current Ghibli Collection umbrella. This design is meant to fit nicely alongside that beautiful collection.

My Neighbor Totoro (1988)

I recently came into the procession of the OOP Fox DVD of this film (which contains the film's original English dub, which I grew up listening). This is a from-scratch recreation of the GKids release with the DVD info replaced with the Fox info. It's a very specific cover that might fit only my needs, but I still thought I'd post.

Cool. Maybe you could make one for Castle and Kiki with the original DVD release included as well?

I really like them, but one thing bugs me, and this is just my personal preferences - I don't like when the title is so low to the edge. On the Thor, Cap and Avengers I would definitely but them closer to the middle. there is room for that there. On Avengers I would even do it a little bit behind Iron Man character, so the title would be before Loki, but behind Tony. I think it would look nice.

So, I was watching Tarantino's latest and it occurred to me I hadn't seen a Steve McQueen flick lately. Pulled out my copy of Bullitt and immediately saw it needed a new cover. This disc has been around for a while now so in addition to custom fronts, I also rebuilt the back to a more current layout.

I started out making a cover using an original US one sheet that, as far as I can tell, has never been used on a disc cover.

While looking through available elements, I got an idea for something that has been used for disc covers, but put my own spin on it.

What's the best printer and paper type for high, studio quality Blu-ray covers?

HP glossy Brochure paper. 44lb or 48lb. Not the tri-fold type. Just standard glossy Brochure paper. Use an xacto knife and a ruler to cut them out. Use Undercover10 to print them.

Decided to do a Dunkirk UHD cover. Did 2 versions that are basically the same, except the back images. Only did two versions as I was unsure about version one's back images, something about it seems cartoony to me. Anyway, let me know what you think

Thanks for the info! What's the best printer model for printing high quality covers with no smearing?

Any number of photo printers will work fine though I myself enjoy and would recommend the Canon MG 7720.

Awesome. I did some searching for the paper, but from what I found, it seems to be hard to find it for an affordable price. Do you have a link for where you usually purchase it, by chance?

I usually check ebay or amazon for any deals first. I was fortunate 8n that last year I found a seller on ebay seller 5 packs for $35 and so I wont need to buy any for some time. Looking just now however and it seems Amazon has it for what I usually end up paying...
