I just watched a few seconds of this movie and all I can say is Wow! Incredible 3D! But it is sold out in most places. There are also some available on eBay for about 155 dollars and more. One location has at a JP MCU discs price. The cheapest place funnily enough is Amazon Japan which sells it for about 50 dollars.

If you think that’s good you should see Flesh For Frankenstein, The Bubble, It Came From Outer Space, House Of Wax and The Stewardess (and extra feature ‘Experiments In Love’)

I'll take autumn and winter (the cold but no snow, I hate snow and ice) over spring and summer

Oh and this cold weather is also wonderful for snuggling on the sofa in front of the wood stove with hubby and a warm, fluffy pooch watching a 3D movie.

Our Marvel adventure continued tonight with Guardians of The Galaxy. Watching it again and in chronological order was great fun. Excellent, fun story line with nice 3D. One of those movies where you don't want to leave to go to the bathroom

In my top 5 of Marvel movies

My parents have a log burner and it really gets on my chest when I visit. Feel like I have been smoking Woodbine by the time I leave!

I get what you mean though. It looks very cosy!

Glad you are enjoying your 3D films, I really enjoyed GOTG and the sequel.

Great job Okiephile. Now is the time to start collecting the slips you can find while some are still cheap. It is the driving force of the 3D value as some are selling 3x more with slips vs without and will just go up and up in perpetuity.

Watched Rogue One. Medium 3D all the way.

Negatives - no pops, potential for pops like guns pointing forward are instead out-focused/blurred, a lengthy dark scene.

Positives - great depth, standouts on scenes in Scarif, especially when protagonist lady re-aligns the antenna.

Movie: awesome, the 5th best Star Wars movie for me out of the 11 SW movies and my fave out of the 5 3D movies out there.

IMHO, all 3D slips SHOULD HAVE BEEN lentis while no 2D (VHS, DVD, VCD, BR, 4K) slips should be lentis.

Some of the slips are better than the movie (Texas Chainsaw).

Watched Boss Baby FB. I liked the movie, the 3D could have been stronger. All in all good, recommended.

Edit: Atmos track and English friendly menu. Is there anything scarier than Ninja babies?

I watched The Hole for the first time last night. I read that it was natively filmed in 3D. It looks really good. Clear picture and nice 3D throughout. I like the pool scenes. Felt like the water was spilling out of the screen. Some cool camera shots too that take advantage of the 3D. I've yet to watch a Joe Dante film that I didn't like and this is no exception. Although I'd consider this bottom tier Dante. Glad it's in 3D! I need to buy more Region B/C 3D Blu-rays to make more use of my region free player. So far I just have this one and Ratatouille.

Recommend Argento’s Dracula, Valerian and T2 if you can’t find region A. I also liked Harlock, BFG, and Tarzan the animated version.

Saw Cane Toads: The Conquest last night. Great 3D. Maybe shot digitally? (I’m no expert.) Some weird wow-wow effect every now and then, but overall crystal clear, strong depth. Quirky documentary that veers off into some strange areas with “colorful” rural Australians being interviewed about their traveling stuffed toads exhibit, their drug-addicted dog’s toad-licking habits, etc. Beautiful nature footage of Australia. Offbeat and fun, but don’t spend a lot on this one.

I've got Valerian, T2, and BFG.

T2 is the Japanese Region A release, Valerian I bought from Europe, its probably a bootleg, and when you said Tarzan the animated version I was hoping it was the Disney one from 1999, lol.

I also have a few metropolitan steel books from France which are region B. I also forgot Dark Country which is great.
Edit: also forgot the mockingjay double feature from Germany.

My wife said the same about the 3D, it’s not as strong as the first movie which was a surprise and disappointing.

Which reminds me that I forgot about They Shall. Since Peter Jackson went from 3D visionary to not getting his 3D film released on bluray, that's something of a sobering counterpoint to the hope that Cameron will reignite the Bronze Age of 3D bluray with Avatar 2.
Cameron was the Tip of the spear with 3D. I remember him saying that (paraphrasing) "Not only will the next Avatar movies be in 3D - when they are released to home video they will ONLY be released in 3D."
Maybe I misheard that, or maybe he recanted. But it would not surprise me if Cameron puts the fullcourt press on for 3D again. The 3rd dimension is the only logical place to go. And for all the naysayers, and (weirdly) vocal anti-3D people - what do you think VR is? It is 3D!
