Finally picked up F&F4. At 25 bucks, I can't complain. Also picked up From Dusk Till Dawn. Now only if Waterboy was at 29.99. Any chance we can PM and get the 15% off lol.

Yes, they are region free.

Their quoted price includes VAT which we would not have to pay. That's at $15%. It falls to £99.96 when you remove that.

Shipping is £3.02.

Then I converted using this.

They will probably give you a slightly worse exchange rate.

Duty is random. I have ordered four times and been charged $12 once and nothing the other three times.

One of these sites may do it cheaper and sometimes have deals such as 10% off.

I just bought the Battlestar complete series - keep checking back, it is out of stock now but they may restock by Tuesday morning. (This was for delivery, all Edmonton stores were out of stock so I could not do store pickup.)

Yep, I came here to check out the thread and saw that people reported the BSG complete series out of stock. Then I went to futureshop.ca to see if any local FS stores had any. The stores did not have a single copy here in Edmonton but luckily I managed to buy one for delivery so they must have restocked, or maybe someone cancelled an order. Either way, I think it is worth checking it out a few times until Tue morning. Good luck!

just to let you guys know, i've been monitoring the discussion on HDD for reviews on gladiator and apparently the PQ had been totally botched! there are screen-caps etc that compare to the dvd and theres no diff. offcourse this is just preliminary talk, but still something to take note off...

There is a thread on this site, as well, about the Gladiator issue, but I dont think this should be discusesed (or maybe even brought up) in this thread. Please wait for more official reviews before making conclusions on the disc. In addition screen shots shouldnt be used as a way of gauging blu-ray PQ for various reasons.

i wasnt saying one way or the other about the pq as i havnt watched it myself.. i was merely saying this is the buzz about the title prior to its release. (similar to the stark trek movies) which 100's of members talked about and bashed paramount for weeks prior to the release of the blus. so theres nothing wrong with what i'm doing. all i was trying to do is providing ppl with info they might not have had prior to pre-ordering or buying this title blindly only to find out later there was information about the transfer not being as solid as it should be for a movie of this caliber. i myself was going to pre-order/ blind buy this blu until one of my buddies told me about the transfer on it not being upto par, when i did some investigating i found there was tons of material on the matter so i'm just sharing it with others who may be in the same boat as me. granted maybe i should have posted it in another thread and for that i do apologize if i'm wrong in posting it here. i just know this is a section of the forum alot of my friends (steve, tiny, snyder, jhonny, captain canuck ... many more) all browse often so its likely theyd come across it hence i wanted to share my findings with them.

I appreciate it card I definatly wanna pick it up but first off the price is stupid .. And I hadnt really read up on reviews yet but now its 1 good 1 Not so great Review. I guess I still really prefer not to trust a site like DVD Beaver or w.e it is lol. I guess until I personally see it or here from one of the members on these forums that I trust I wont really believe anything.

oh guys... Im not trying to say your doing anything wrong but there is quite a heated debate going on about those screenshots, so I just wanted to state that until more full reviews come out, we should hold off on any judgements about the blu-ray.
For example, many are saying that Gladiator is a completely garbage transfer... but DVDBeavers review states thats its a solid transfer with some digital manipulation...
Also, if you havent heard of DVDBeaver, its a solid review site
