I'll be getting this game but i wish they hadn't redesigned Cole to look more like a "hero" and recast the voice actor. I thought the Cole from the first game was perfect. He was a dark, brooding character who was having a hard time dealing with how is powers were changing his life and also having a hard time deciding if he wanted to use them for good or for evil. IMO Cole isn't supposed to be heroic and GQ like Nathan Drake, but someone who relunctantly accepts the drastic changes in his life and accepts the fact that his destiny is not to be normal, but to save the world

Here's the rest of the GameInformer screenshots without watermarks. You can see two or three different head models for Cole looking through all the screens and Sucker Punch has stated they're still not finished with him.

A system similar to AC2 needs to be implemented for tracking feathers, basically narrowing it down to small districts, rather than an entire map. Also, there should be some type of map that can be found that will ID shards, kind of like Riddler maps in AA. Last edited by Snake_XRS; 06-22-2010 at 05:05 AM. |

I think those Militia guys will be even harder to take down than the Dust Men. I certainly had a hard time going through the Warren, and how many times I had to strike the Dust Men to keep them down. These Militia characters look like they have more professional modern assault weapons, and more advanced armor.
Good thing Cole's getting himself some new powers. Looking more at Cole's new look, it seems that the only real difference is the length of his hair. I don't remember looking at his bare arms much in the first one, if at all. The screens with him and his shorter hair (which I like best), is very consistent with his look from the first one. Still, I liked the voice actor from the first one, but I'm willing to give the new one a shot. Very happy to have Zeke back, love the jacket logo on his back. (I'm a bowler off and on) That hover "drone" that Cole was firing at reminds me of those ones that you fought in the Historical District in the original. Makes me wonder if the First Ones will return. Since they developed the Ray Sphere, and you go to the place where it was developed it wouldn't surprise me it they turned up again. With all this content and detail, isn't it wonderful that we have Blu-ray to drive this generation? ![]() Edit: Maybe the militia guy in the middle of those three is related to Michael from Halloween.
