my first year in halls the reception kept all parcels.
this year I asked and thats what I got told that they keep it in post box but does make sense if they leave a red slip. Il probs change to standard delivery if I find out different.

no way.
bluray is still not that cheap that a 6 season set will retail at £99.

The Premium is £142 on Amazon though but you wont find standard for less then £150 till a few months from now.

I never had my S6 today, which actually really annoyed me. Considering someone here got the CC boxset on Thursday, why isn't mine here on the Friday when they were posted on the same day? My brother got the DVD version from HMV today too, and it was also sent out on Wednesday. I will be majorly annoyed if it doesn't even get here tomorrow! Then I'll start to wonder if it's gotten lost (excuse the pun) in the post...

I'd imagine that S6 was sent via standard Royal Mail which Play do for slim DVDs/Blus - my CC was sent via the Home Delivery Network due to its bulky nature.

The easy way to check is to see if your order on Play has a tracking number - if it doesn't then it's bog standard mail which tends to mean 3-5 days.

I got it today anyway. Been watching the bonus features today, and they're very good. There isn't a whole lot, but they've probably saved most of it back for the CC. However, "THE END: Crafting A Final Season" is a 40 minute behind the scenes feature on the entire season. You know those "Lost: On Location" features they have for some of the episodes? It's basically that but the whole season. And there are LOST: On Locations for several episodes too! I actually managed to access Lost University on this disc too. On Season 5 I could never get it to work. It is the only BD exclusive though as far as I can tell. I got a little emotional as I watched Crafting A Final Season, because they show a couple of the actors final scenes, and Jorge Garcia's (Hurley) reaction to reading the finale script.

There is a problem with the DVD release too. The deleted scenes are not on any of the discs! It's not on the exclusive HMV disc either. Good job I buy Blu-ray. After the mix up with the Best Buy exclusive disc in America this is just embarrassing for Buena Vista.

Best buy were meant to supply a exclusive bonus disk with different extras with season 6 in the US but instead the season 6 blurays contained the same contents as the complete collection bonus disc.

I may have to put this, and the Inception: Briefcase Edition, on the "order when cheaper" list, but before I do, I need to know something.

Does anyone know if this is going to be a limited edition release, or is a "always available, mass production" package?

been there a couple of days.
its the most expensive place atm.
Play has it for £189.99 and Amazon for £142
I think HMV will drop it to £189.99 soon.

As far as I know it should be always available. The US only have the Senet version, so I suppose as long as that's being made they would still be able to make Premium sets for the UK. Don't hold me to that though, but I haven't heard it will be for a limited amount of time.

BTW just got word that the Region 2 DVD does not contain two "Lost: On Location" features which are on my Blu-ray. I don't know if the Region 1 DVD has them, so I don't know if this is another production mistake or they are actually BD exclusive.

Which ones are they? They might be on the HMV disc. Wouldn't matter either way since I am going to trade in my DVD set when I have finished rewatching season 6, and then start saving for the Premium set.

They are "The Substitute" and "Happily Ever After". They're not on the HMV disc, those are "Sundown" and "Dr. Linus". I did read on Lostpedia that there would be two BD exclusive Lost: On Location features which were "Dr. Linus" and "Everybody Loves Hugo". It was removed after the US release, so it looks like it was a false rumour since the former is on the HMV disc.
