It's not, that's probably something Mill Creek did, or Sony decided to do through MC. Only season 1 was really messed up, season 2 and 3 had stuff not in production order but the story was looser and mostly self contained so it didn't need to be told in a specific order. The only problem was, as I said, they still have The Kickening as a season 3 episode because they filmed it in season 2 but for whatever reason, ABC held it off until the middle of season 3... but then showed flashbacks to that episode in the first episode of season 3. It should be the 21st episode of season 2 at the very least, and push the finale back an episode.

It's nice they acknowledged how bad the continuity was and fixed it. It would've been nice if they put the Kickball episode in season 2 where it was filmed instead of season 3, especially since Penny had a flashback to getting hit with the kickball in the season 3 premiere, so I guess Penny can see the future lol

Are you saying that the Mill Creek BluRays have the episodes in a good order?

Yeah, that's one of their selling points lol Only for season 1 though, which like I said in my previous post before this one, was the only major issue.

Thanks! The Blus are so much cheaper than the iTunes versions... whichever I end up with I will watch in the proper order.

Also still waiting for Eliza Coupe’s Future Man season 3 to appear on iTunes...it is years late, no pun intended!

If you go to the tvmaze link I posted, I put the "continuity" order up as an alternate episode order on that website. (And The Kickening from season 3 should be viewed before the season 2 finale)

That's available on BD in Australia, though it seems like season 2 is B locked while 1 and 3 are A-compatible.

Oh now THAT is interesting! Though I’m reading a review on amazon.ca and they’re saying on season 1 disc 2, one episode has Dave with his food truck without any explanation. So maybe season one is still out of order on the bluray?

I don't remember the food truck happening until it should have, but I haven't watched it all the way through again since I got so backed up with other stuff.

Is the review for the BD? Because Amazon lumps all their reviews together for TV shows and movies, you can find DVD reviews on a 4K release and vice versa.

I've had no issues with the Blu ray disks thus far; I've had them for about a month. One caveat, is I think season 1 is out of order still... although I could be wrong. I watched all of season 1 disk one, and then all of a sudden on season 1 disk 2, Dave has a food truck with no explanation. Maybe I'm remembering the show wrong, but I feel like there was an explanation as to why he started a food truck.

But who knows, maybe this reviewer is mistaken.

Maybe they missed something, he gets the food truck in Dave of the Dead which aired as episode 7 but the MC BDs put it in the correct order at episode 4... which is on the first disc.

They even put The Kickening on season 2, that's a surprise... the MC BD didn't even do that. Maybe they didn't realize that 3x01 had a flashback to that episode, since it was self-contained enough to have been held over for the next season, and wasn't full of major continuity errors like all of season 1 had. Would be nice if the BD had it correct but it's not a huge deal.

We are towards the end of our rewatch with the digital versions on Vudu and forgot to look up and follow the correct order for the season one episodes. I hope I remember if we ever watch again. I'm glad that Netflix fixed it and people get that chance without having to look it up.

The last of the BluRays were blown out of Amazon yesterday, at $13.99. I'd already bought the iTunes version but swept in and grabbed the BluRay. It said there were 11 copies left when I ordered. Now, the next day, looks like it is gone - the price went back up to $24 and Amazon has zero stock. A few resellers still have it.

Unless Mill Creek finds more, that may be it.
