So in other words, Blu-Ray.Com's review is biased and incredibly inaccurate. Not a huge surprise at all.

Amazon Amazon.com has lowered it to $19.99 as expected.

I knew they would do that. Even though it's not a killer price, and it's going to be reduced further for sure, at some point, it's good enough for me, and I ordered it together with "The Cable Guy".

Can't wait to see it again!

Does anybody have this yet?

Which opening to the use for the blu-ray, the original, or the newer ILM created sunset?

Anyone know if Walmart is carrying this in-store and what price they are selling it for?

Agreed. This title should have heavy grain that should look like extremely coarse sandpaper. What I'm seeing looks like a stained-glass window.

Not sure what you're looking at then. Every other review indicates the grain is still pretty prevalent.

Maybe you should check the settings on your player. Because the reviews disagree with you.

Beast, please put me on ignore. I really don't feel like arguing with you.

Pathetic bullsh*t. Target and Best Buy near work do not even have it on their shelves. I am going to Amazon.

I found it at WalMart for $21.99 here in Canada. The other store's futureshop and HMV didn't even have it. It was a little more money at the other 2 store's if it was in stock.

HTF's review isn't exactly glowing either. So yes, there's edge enhancement (no surprise, considering Universal's previous catalog titles), but you might not see it/don't mind it. How exactly does that mean Blu-ray.com's review is biased?

Keep checking Best Buy's website to see if it has come down in price or if it's available in any local stores - no such luck.

Wanted to trade up my DVD for this. If the price was 19.99, then hopefully I could get it for $14.99.

OK, picked this up at Wal-Mart for 20 bucks! (They only had 1 copy left!) Came home, got my drink, popcorn and candy and watched this CLASSIC movie! Run, do not walk to your nearest video store and BUY this movie! It has never looked or sounded better! (And yes, I DID see this in 1973 when I was 17!) The cars are boss, the neon lights cool, and EVERTHING about this blu-ray rocks! I am watching on a 10 foot wide cinemascope screen and like I said, Fantastic. I could not be more jazzed! I am having some friends over tonight, who have NEVER seen it before, and I am totally psyched to see it again! This belongs in EVERONE'S blu-ray collection. And no, I do not work for Universal or Lucas, I'm just a huge fan of GREAT movies, and this is one of the best! (I was more excitied about THIS title then Star Wars, and I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan!) Way to go, Universal, no knuckle sandwhich for you!

No slipcover from Amazon either. I don't collect slips, but it still would have been nice to get since the movie was just released.
