GoF and OoTP are in the post. Will get HBP when it drops in price. Paid £13.49 each for GoF and OoTP from MovieMail.
How did you find MovieMail (the experience of shopping not their web address)? They've had a few boxsets going cheap in the past but I'd never heard of them.

Got my copies of these today!

Half-Blood Prince (#6) was duffed up a bit and had a scratched disc so I sent that one back for a replacement though.

No problems placing the order.

As for the condition of the package and the goods, I'll let you know when they arrive!

(One thing I've noticed in my first experience with MovieMail, is that their packages are damn slow!)

They might have a stock allocation problem at the moment, because according to my invoice, I am going to receive OoTP before GoF, even though I ordered them both on the same day.

OoTP had a dispatch notice of 72 hours, while GoF has a dispatch notice of 4-7 working days, so I am expecting 2 packages, even though it was all done under one order.

Only cost me £27.48 in total though, plus free shipping, so it can't be all bad!

Here's an odd one...

My PS extended DVD runs at 2:32, while the theatrical runs at 2:26. This would make the film 152 minutes and 146 minutes respectively, which is totally different to the 159/152 quoted all around the internet.

Probably down to PAL or something, lol.

Btw, I do Blu-ray reviews and videos on my YouTube channel if anyones interested in videos showing these sets if they're hesitant to buy?

It would help if we knew what your channel link was. Just a thought.

The Canadian Blu Ray ultimate Edition of HP1 is true to the original title of Philosophers Stone and has the extended version on a Blu Ray disc. The only loss is having a R1 bonus DVD.
They are currently on ebay here (roughly £24 delivered): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2807834643...84.m1497.l2649
Not sure what you'd be hit with regarding import charges though but a good buy if you don't want to go the US "Sorcerers Stone" route...

OoTP just arrived from MovieMail before GoF, as I suspected that it would (even though I ordered them both on the same day).

If I'm honest, I can't say that I am a fan of the packaging that MovieMail chose to use for shipping. They used a cardboard wraparound, sort of like what Amazon use, only worse.

There are a few scuff marks on the slipcase as a result of the packaging used to ship it. Although, they can only be seen at certain angles. I would send it back for a replacement, but to be honest, why bother when the slipcase is just going to succumb to wear and tear through out it's shelf life anyway? If it were a steelbook, I'd be fuming, but since it's cardboard, it would have been inevitable in either case.

Just waiting for GoF fire to arrive, then I'll shop around for HBP, and start waiting for DH1 and DH2.

What are the chances that DH1 and DH2 will both be released in a single Ultimate Edition boxset, since they are technically one movie just cut in half?

Can't see that happening. They'll want to make as much money as possible and two boxes does that for them. Plus there was two boxes in the mock up when the EU were first announced.

Is there a picture of them in the mock up?

Tiny but you can see 8 editions. Interesting the colours for HBP and DHP2 were swapped. Ad far as I know this dates from when the first one was announced.

Does anyone know what is going with the UCEs of Deathly Hallows 1 and 2?

Has WB said anything?

I've heard nothing yet. I frequent Harry Potter news sites fairly often so I'd have heard about a release if there was anything. DH Part 2 is still selling well on DVD/BluRay as it is so I imagine it'll be awhile before we get anything.

If they are the UE's in this upcoming set, maybe we will get the missing individual UE's.

Wasn't there supposed to be an announcement last month with release dates on Deathly Hallows Parts 1&2 Ultimate Editions? Where was it?

I hope they release them soon. As of June, it would have been a year since 5&6 were released!

These sets are at a really low price atm. Are they worth getting? How do they differ from the US set?
