Very grainy, and there's still quite a few spots on the print etc. If you want pristine looking animation you've come to wrong place.
Personally I'm fine with it.

Also for what it's worth the English dub version is presented in cropped 16x9 whilst the Japanese is in the original 4x3. The Japanese version is also about 7 minutes longer.

I just got the Anne disc and the English subtitles disappear for the last 6 minutes of the film. Anybody else have this problem?

There will be a 25th Anniversary Edition re-release of Princess Mononoke.
It seems to be the first Studio Ghibli release under the Crunchyroll labelling.
It still seems very surreal to see a Studio Ghibli release under Crunchyroll, especially since the Crunchyroll streaming service doesn't have the Ghibli films.

I thought the Studio Ghibli movies were in perpetual release with Madman, however after looking for Grave of the Fireflies it looks like quite a few are out of print. Anyhoo, I made a list of what was still available on blu ray, going through the new Crunchyroll website.

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind - available
Castle in the Sky - only available as part of the Hayao Miyazaki collection
Grave of the Fireflies - OOP
My Neighbor Totoro - available
Kiki's Delivery Service - available
Only Yesterday - available
Porco Rosso - available
Ocean Waves - OOP
Pom Poko - OOP
Whisper of the Heart - OOP
Princess Mononoke - available
My Neighbors the Yamadas - available
Spirited Away - available
The Cat Returns - OOP
Howl's Moving Castle - available
Tales from Earthsea - OOP
Ponyo - available
Arrietty - available
From Up on Poppy Hill - OOP
The Wind Rises - only available as part of the Hayao Miyazaki collection
The Tale of the Princess Kaguya - available
When Marnie Was There - available
The Red Turtle - available
Earwig and the Witch - available

Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro - only available as part of the Hayao Miyazaki collection
Anne of Green Gables - available
Ronja, the Robber's Daughter - OOP

Question about When Marnie Was There - For anyone who has the blu-ray did yours come with the "Studio Ghibli Collection" double sided insert that Madman include with their Ghibli blu-rays?
I got mine brand new from JB back when it was still in print and it was either missing or for whatever reason they didn't do one for When Marnie Was There.
I emailed Madman about it at the time but never got a reply.

What would be the easiest way for a person in Europe to order Anne of Green Gables? I am having trouble finding a store that sells it that also ships to Europe.

I was looking to import some Australian Studio Ghibli releases to the USA (even with the potential delays) and was attempting to place my first order ever on the AU Crunchyroll Store.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm shipping to the USA, but the only option it gave me for payment was PayPal, and when I proceeded to that step, I got the error: "Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later."

I don't know what to do now? There is no option from my order history to resume payment. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
