My Killzone game save isn't uploading automatically despite being set too. Yesterday the file on my system was days newer than the one on PS+ cloud. I manually updated it (again)
So a console update will download but not install? Ok. but game updates should download and install? |

When you update system firmware you are basically re-writing the entire systems code. Multi-tasking other apps while doing this is not an option. Also prevents bricks. Say it did allow multi-tasking & did it in background & standby. Once you turn on the system you could Brick it if it was installing firmware for example. It's much safer for you if the PS4 just downloads the updated version. |

As soon as you set up your internet connection, it will detect that there is a newer Update and require you to hit the "Update Now" option.

Oh I'd rather do it over the network, I'm just saying whenever I set up a new PS3, it always said I had to put the update a thumbdrive and update it that way, it wouldn't connect to the internet and find it itself.
Good to see the PS4 will. |

Really getting frustrated that there isn't a patch for bluetooth headsets yet. I'm stuck using the included one and it's horrible, I can't hear anybody.
Sad that I have an official Pulse headset and Sony bluetooth headset that I can't use. And no plugging it in the controller is not a solution I'm interested in. Last edited by silversnake; 01-03-2014 at 06:13 PM. |

I wouldn't be using the headset provided if the Pulse Elites were supported. Plus there's always a chance of putting your pad down quickly due to a lapse in concentration and walking off dragging an expensive DS4 and a chance of wrecking the Pulse Elites. Update on Pulse Elite enabling firmware via the Big Cheese Shuhei Yoshida https://twitter.com/yosp/status/418889076318543873 Looks like the initial January window is now "Future Update" Last edited by Codey47; 01-03-2014 at 07:17 PM. |
