It seems comical that someone purchasing a G-rated family movie like Secret Life of Pets would get offered an R-rated meta action movie like The Guest; polar opposites.

We can say the parent bought the movie for the children, and universal was like maybe we should offer an R-rated movie to this wonderful parent, so both the parents and the children come out with a movie.

So just realised this offer wasn't available for Warcraft 3D. What the hell. Even the DVD gets it, but the 3D version doesn't.

My 3d came with it. For some reason Universal was really inconsistent with these codes, some just got the movie code while others got the movie code, game codes, and the free bonus movie code.

Yeah, I just got the uv code. If you check the info it doesn't mention the 3D getting the offer. Glad you got one. Unfortunately Nada for me.

I already have Mockingbird and Reality Bites on Blu-ray and Fear, Sgt. Bilko, and Scorpion King 3 on DVD.

Not interested in sequels.

Entering this on the site gives you a UV code you can redeem in VUDU, or is it more complicated than that?

The free gift code is a Universale code that must be redeemed on Universal's redemption page with a Universal account, this is UV enabled so ports to VUDU if you link Universal to UV

Waited too long to redeem my Secret Life of Pets one. Was going to get The Guest. Says it's out of stock. Redeemed Reality Bites instead. Good news I suppose is that there should be at least one new movie for the next release.

I find it hard to believe but they must have had 600,000 redemptions of The Guest. Seems crazy high to me. It's probably inclusive of all the Universal movies offering free movies, so maybe it's legit.

Same thing happened to me. SO dumb that UV codes can "run out." I ended up going with Airport. I've never seen it, it sounds like fun, and you can't really go with a free bonus code.
