It’s basically a sci-fi anthology series which, despite borrowing heavily from old ideas and material, many people seem to think is ground breaking because of its imaginative (or cliched, depending on your POV) use of relatable technology and how it impacts on characters’ lives as its central premise.

Started watching season five and the first episode did not disappoint.

If I were in that situation, it'd be hard to "leave" it because it'd feel too real or better yet, don't even join it. However, if he didn't experience he'd not know what it was.

My favorite Black Mirror episodes:
- Social Credit
- Blocked by Everyone
- VR Relation

There aren't any BM episodes with those names.

ha ha.. ok. not too hard to look up the titles. that one was good, though. I like to call it "Ron Howard's Daughter." I also like the one "Madmen Dude," that I think you liked, as well.

USS Callister was another brilliant episode where I felt bad for Daly since everyone treated him so poorly and disrespected him in real life, he at least deserved to punish them in some manner. I mean, the kid's DNA I agree that was going too far, but otherwise he was living his fantasy as the captain.

Sad ending he had. Sigh.

I remember her mostly from Jurassic World and "that smoking hot redhead chick."

Oh, I know how it can be rather vague. That too was an excellent episode.

Season 5, Episode 2 - Excellent

Now, episode 3? That was a very weak episode, but still worth watching. It reminded me of Britney Spears and I'm glad her dad no longer has control over her, nor treat her like a profitable pet.

Anyhow, I won't mind if there's no Season Six. This only had three episodes with only two good ones.

What I like most about Black Mirror - each episode is self-contained. It's like a mini-movie each time. Each episode had its own flavor, I generally liked every episode, and some just blew me away. What a series!

That was the guy who kidnapped, imprisoned, and tortured/killed copies of his co-workers right?

Lol. Can't imagine a better ending for that guy.

Virtual copies.

It isn't any different than killing "people" on GTA games. Since when did people get sensitive about game characters that much? lol

I give it a decade, maybe sooner, before we see genuine real world protests and such regarding "issues" in fiction where movie/game characters etc have been killed or abused in some way. That's just how insane this planet is getting.

We already can’t have skinny people wear a fat suit to play a fat character in fiction. We can’t have a straight person play a gay person. Soon we’ll cancel actors with small noses putting on prosthetic make-up portraying someone with a big nose. Maybe we should cancel Jada Pinkett Smith for putting on old person make-up in Matrix 4?

Black Mirror is one of the best shows there is that Netflix has to offer. It depicts the future so well and makes us think about the alternate realities and the power that technology beholds in doing this, really blows my mind. So excited for the new episodes it really shows what the world Is moving next to!
