Don't buy from Best Buy any items including movies even if there giving you 25 dollars off a third item if your preordering any movie except an exclusive they won't price match until the movie ships meaning if it ships and a sale is going on amazon they won't reduce the price until you actually get the item and by than the any sale might have ended and you won't receive the discount.

Best Buy 3D steelbook @ Best Buy in Canada?

Not that I've seen it listed on the US site either, but Hoping someone has heard that we'll get the 3D steelbook in Canada

Target edition looks like the way to go. Highly disappointing steelbook design. On the plus side though, we don't have to wait 6 months for the 3d.

Will be interesting to see if we would get the deleted scenes or if they'll wait for the end of the year edition.

Is there a link, I haven't found it at target.com yet. It only shows the 2D blu ray. Haven't seen it at bestbuy or amazon.com either for the US release. Only thing I saw was the 2D version listed for 4/4/2017.

Glad that the 3D is releasing right off the bat and we don't have to wait 6 months.

Haven't seen any links for the 3D version yet. Based on the announcement, it appears the 3D will only be on the Target and Best Buy exclusives, so Amazon probably won't get it at all, and I hope those stores stock enough so that it doesn't become a price gouged release.

I do prefer the Target set so far..... If the picture/artwork is correct it will be thick to make room for the 5 discs and possibly even have a clear slip cover.

The Target does seem like the best with the bonus DVD, but I'm still a little antsy about them after going in there prepared to buy their Force Awakens exclusive, and then being shocked by how incredibly flimsy the packaging was and saying no way was I getting that.

I like Steelbooks in general, so if nothing else Best Buy has a safe, solid choice.

I've had good experiences with Target regarding collectible packaging and exclusives.

In recent memory, Target's Sucide Squad digi-book was awesome and Star Trek Beyond exclusive set had more extras and swapable character covers.

The fact that we're now getting the Target exclusive *with* 3D, has basically never happened before.

With this set coming out Day & Date with the 2D release, I can't really ask for anything else.

I hope Rogue One 3D sells like hotcakes. The Industry needs to see that.

both preorders up at $29.99. Personally leaning towards the Target one. Not crazy about the artwork on the steelbook.

I wonder if Target -- you know, the retailer that so heavily pushes Blu-ray 3D -- got Amazon's exclusive? Funny, if so.

EDIT: Ordered both. Because I am a nut case.

Hi Travel,

They actually reduced the price of "It Came From Outer Space" from that of the pre-order a few days after it's actual release. I only stumbled upon this myself and had to contact them to get the refund. Whoever heard of a disc's price becoming lower than pre-order when it's ultimately released?

Hi 13th,

Just had a bad experience with Zavvi. It seems one cannot just cancel an order once it's placed despite having an option to do so. I tried cancelling an an order within 15 minutes of placing it. I was advised the next day in an email that the order was already in the shipping process - 15 minutes after placing it! But instead of a message advising me so when going through the cancellation process, I got a message stating "cancellation pending". Not knowing anything different, and after realizing I did want the discs after all, I placed a second order, assuming the first order was cancelled, Of course, got an email the next day saying I would have to return one.

Being in the U.S., it cost me $22.50 to return discs and all they would do is refund me 15% of order cost ($4.04). So providing no opportunity to cancel items would not be a big a deal for those in England and on the continent but for us in the United States, it becomes a very expensive experience.

Zavvi provides no window for changing one's mind and so those in the U.S. better be prepared to fork out big bucks to return items that didn't have to be shipped out to begin with.

Duly noted - screw that then. I was wondering how ordering was from there. Guess I'll stick to Amazon(s) and Best Buy then.

Target has recently started shipping ground Thursday before release week so you receive the item on release date using standard shipping. I got Arrival on time

The damage wasn't their fault, but I also had a bad experience with Zavvi regarding a return of a scratched disc that I got in a steelbook. In the end I complained so much that they sent me a free replacement steelbook, but the disc inside that was damaged too so I have vowed never to use them again.

I pre-ordered both of the Exclusives. Will decide which to keep closer to release day.

Don't know if this helps, but I just got a notice that Dr. Strange has shipped from Target. It *should* definitely get to me by Tuesday.
