That is from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Deadly Dolls (Season Four, 10/1/67): at least from what Google is telling me. And it appears to be Richard Basehart's puppet facsimile

Witchfinder General was absolutely wicked. I saw that as kid and I had never seen anything like that before. It should have been rated R and I shouldn't have been let in...

On another note, here is Charles Bronson's prop head from House of Wax....

I am a complete idiot, but I at least have some honor.

Months ago I tracked down a copy of Leave Her to Heaven. It was the most I've spent on a single disc, but I was ecstatic. i saw the movie last year on the big screen and thought it was incredible.

Cut to last week. I find a second pricey copy for sale at a local record store. I trade in several bags of blu Rays and DVDs to get it.

I end up placing it for sale on eBay with what I feel is an pretty high price. Hedging my bets, I offer it up for trade on the forums here. Trade goes through AND I sell the one on eBay ON THE SAME DAY. instead of cancelling either, I go through with both. Meaning I now no longer have a copy of this great movie.

I'm an idiot, but I have some honor left.

Oh man, that’s rough. Can I ask what you sold it on eBay for? I’m looking to maybe pick up a copy and I’m wondering what the average price is

One copy just sold on eBay for $125 plus shipping... the user name and location of the city are similar to his, so I'm assuming that's the one he sold.

I won't even pretend to be educated on older films, let alone the career of Vincent Price. Though I do remember watching The Pit and the Pendulum on VHS as a kid, a tape my folks had laying around. Terrified me. I'd like to revisit that one on BD.

That’s ok...everyone’s got to start somewhere The bad news is that Pit and the Pendulum is on the Scream Factory Vincent Price Collection Vol. 1 and is OOP. Prices on eBay are insane...like over $200

The Arrow blu-rays of Corman's Poe films are outstanding. Razor sharp, full of texture
and detail, correctly balanced color and densities. Just beautiful looking transfers that
easily surpass the USA counterparts. The Fall of the House of Usher and The Pit
and the Pendulum
especially.

Odd, as there is absolutely zero difference between Arrow & Shout on PIT
https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?d1=55...79&i=4&l=0&a=1

USHER is a little brighter on the ARROW.

Statements like this do no one any good when they are blatantly incorrect.

LOL.

There is a difference. It might not be huge, but you are saying there is zero difference then banging on about others making incorrect blanket statements.

Identical master, but Arrow best on the compression side of things. I'm not saying people with necessarily notice in motion, but it's there.

https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?a=2&x...5&l=0&i=0&go=1

Arrow also appears to have an extra bit of tidying.

https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?a=2&x...8&l=0&i=3&go=1

Not enough that anyone should particularly seek one out over the other, but that's moot now anyway with the Shout version long OOP. I do have a massive soft spot for my Arrow Six Gothic Tales box. Likewise OOP, it's gorgeous in presentation with all the individual art and a hardback book.
