Well I'm hoping for the following: little to no background story for creatures, very much off screen appearance (power of suggestion rules), slow tempo, good performances, isolated feeling, creepy atmosphere.

Are you importing Geoff or waiting until August for the UK release? I've had my finger hovering over the purchase button all day on amazon.com - still on the fence. These 4 - 6 week delays on this side of the pond are a pain in my balls.

Definitely an atmospheric film but I didn't find it to be creepy, per se. Almost more of a melancholic feel for me. But otherwise, that list of things you're hoping for is basically a list of things I liked about the movie.

I think I ordered it at zoom. I can wait, though if an import pops up at a decent price on go peachy or second spin or Mario on eBay then I'll go for that.

Just finished watching this. Ohhh Man.... this was the reason I upgraded to and Atmos system. Amazing sound design throughout the movie. Not only in the atmos layer but in the 5.1 bed as well. The movie itself was my kind of movie so I give it a high recommendation to anyone into horror, scifi, or apocalyptic style movies. Drops uou in the middle and doesnt give you a 5 minute monologue to catch you up at the beginning.

I'm not understanding something, is the ATMOS on the UHD disc different from the ATMOS on the HD disc?

I ask because the reviewer of the UHD and the HD (on this site) was the same person and he gave the HD 5/5 but the UHD 4.5/5 for the audio and it was the same worded review!

was that a mistake, I mean, I hope so?

Really disappointed with this one. I bet it will look good on 4K but the movie did nothing for me. I'm a huge horror fan but this one just didn't click. I'm glad to see Jim from The Office doing well though as I always enjoyed him on that.

I was the same he did a good job as a director but it didn't do nothing for me.

I'm really looking forward to watching this again with my wife. Ordered from Amazon a few months ago. What is the earliest Amazon will ship this out? I know Amazon rarely ever ships early but this time it would be nice if they did.

As the person who brought up the parallel, I'd add that AQP was better than Signs. But, I liked Signs when it came out.

. Also, I could also see the roof of the house across the street from my bedroom window; and for a couple weeks after seeing Signs, I couldn't glance in that direction at night for fear of seeing a certain silhouette.
