Creed II 4K UHD (2018)

Just watched this after revisiting the first and I feel the first is a bit sharper and less soft, while the 2nd has better hdr implementation. They both shocked me on how good they were after seeing how much this site trashed the 2nd in 4K. This does make me wish we got the og rocky in 4k with no teal blanket present on the bd

Agree! The first looks sharper but both transfers are good. About Rocky, the remastered blu-ray looks incredible in my opinion, but of course a 4K release can improve it.

I need to watch both back to back. Only watched Creed 2 once but did like the presentation.

Finally got around to watch this movie. It's easily far better than the first, the first was pretty much a remake of Rocky so that's why I didn't bother with this sooner. Movies that lack originality for me tend to get watched later.

Anyway, I was hoping Viktor would win 'cause I felt bad for him, but.. this is Donnie's movie.

It doesn't matter if it's 10 years old, everybody haven't seen Creed II, and probably never seen the first one either. Regardless if anybody has seen it or not, a spoiler tag should've been used.

I just revisited and unfortunately my opinion didn't change, this is a slog to get through. it's basically Creed on the verge of tears for 2 hours

will get rid of the disc the next time I purge the collection.

I loved this movie. The first Creed was great but this one took it to another level. I liked how the opponents were fleshed out more. That scene where he screamed in the pool was so good. Loved the ending too.

PQ-wise I thought the black levels weren't as deep on this one as they were in the first. I loved the light shows before the boxers' entrances. The Atmos was pretty good.
