Cheers. Not a massive surprise, what with a sequel on the way.

This was shot 1080p on the Genesis so the BD comparision is going to be vewwy intewesting.

This flick has been streaming in 4K HDR in Australia for some time, I’ve already treated myself a few times. Even for a stream, it looks fecking gorgeous. The colours in particular.... oh mai the colours.

Nice, but as mentioned, not a big surprise.

Now they can just give us Easy A, The House Bunny, and The Amazing Spider-Man by itself and the relevant Emma Stone Sony movies will be out... Superbad too but Emma Stone isn't what comes to mind first for that. And Aloha, but nobody's begging for that one lol Irrational Man and Magic in the Moonlight are Sony Pictures Classics so I wouldn't think those would happen.

Well...yeah. When LoSoul provided the inevitable "meh, upscale" comment up in the thread I kept quiet but resolution isn't the be all and end all etc etc etc.

I want this badly too. The audio alone is worth an atmos remix. Hopefully its exclusion from the recent "Sony wants to hear from you" list doesn't mean it's not being considered for a 4K/UHD release.

Haven't upgraded this one to Blu yet. Was holding out on finding the Nut Up or Shut Up edition. Hopefully Sony will port those extras to this. I'll probably grab it either way though.
