‘Grease’ Prequel ‘Rise of the Pink Ladies’ a Go at Paramount+

The ViacomCBS streaming service has given a series order to Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, a prequel to the beloved musical. The 10-episode show is the first pickup under new Paramount+ topper Nicole Clemens — who also runs Paramount TV Studios, which is producing the prequel.

Rise of the Pink Ladies takes place four years before the original Grease. Per the show’s logline, “before rock ‘n’ roll ruled, before the T-Birds were the coolest in the school, four fed-up, outcast girls dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.”

I went to check Paramount+ for A Quiet Place 2 yesterday because I realized it was going to be on there although I didnt actually realize I was checking it the DAY it released. But the thing is, my paramount+ subscription is active and I am 100% sure I’m not currently subscribed. Anyone else seemingly getting a free subscription?

Regarding Snake Eyes

While the digital date was at one point announced for September 8th, several digital sites like Amazon, Google Play, Itunes and Vudu are listing August 17th as its digital release date.

If true, they are dumping it on digital nearly two months before Blu. It's also may possible August 17th will be its Paramount+ day - since Quiet Place 2 came on Paramount+ the same day as its digital release.

So, if it's true, 25 days. Snake Eyes did bad but Paramount must have been REALLY disappointed.

Sky, ViacomCBS Set to Launch Paramount+ in Western Europe in 2022

As expected, Comcast’s satellite TV operator Sky and ViacomCBS International are set to launch the Paramount+ subscription streaming video platform in Western Europe in 2022. The two companies Aug. 18 announced that Paramount+ will launch on Sky platforms in the U.K., Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria as part of a new multi-year distribution agreement that also includes the extended carriage of ViacomCBS’ portfolio of pay-TV channels and the renewal of Sky as an ad sales partner in select markets

Who has the rights to the 87 tmnt show is it Lionsgate. if so do they have a streaming service they could put it on and for some strange reason they haven’t put it on.

This is not conclusive, but I don't think the '87 series is owned by Viacom/CBS. In other words, you won't see '87 on the likes of Nickelodeon nor Paramount+. Hope this is a good start.

I like to watch Survivor so its really cool that Paramount+ is having the new season episodes up the next day on the service. I wish they would do the same for MTV’s The Challenge or at least that they would have all seasons of The Challenge available like they have Survivor.

Also, saw they have the movie Queenpins available. I’ll be checking it out this weekend.

On September 9, 2021, an announcement was published on the Mirage Group official website that four Mirage corporations (Mirage Studios, Inc., Mirage Licensing, Inc., Mirage Publishing, Inc., Mirage Management, Inc.) were officially dissolved and as of September 19, 2021, they will have stopped conducting all merchandise sales. The website will no longer be updated but will remain active as an archival resource related to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics published by Mirage between the years 1984 and 2010.

So it looks like ViacomCBS has the rights
