Thanks for the info, I didn’t know that.

Love that it came from Scorsese.

I really liked Music In My Heart it's a charming little film. Very lightweight but it appealed to me.

I kind of hate to say this but I liked it more than You'll Never Get Rich. Fred and Rita's dancing in the film is incredible and it's worth it just for that.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand, is there something wrong with DeepDiscount's stock then? Do they not have it, it looks like they do? I had an order with TCM from January 1st that they didn't even tell me was out of stock. I only found out because I asked where my order was. I'm asking for a cancellation because they haven't even charged me yet. I was thinking of ordering it from DeepDiscount. Unless I can find a place here in Canada. Amazon is way too expensive.
And what is this WAC podcast people are talking about?

+1 on your views. Not only that, MIMH looks better than YNGR although with considerably more audio hiss. YNGR is very soft. Fred's dancing is exquisite but the rest of the fare is more camp for the sake of camp. And worse, very little Rita in it. Did not dig 'Tonight and every night' either even though Rita shines in it. Its 'Down to Earth' tonight

the page for this collection doesn't give an assessment of the Blu discs, just refers you to their own pages. but the vast majority weren't reviewed and have no individual release. still wondering how these look. and is the Pal Joey the same as the Twilight Time release?

I'm really hoping the reason Sony left Cover Girl off this box set is because they are planning to release it on blu-ray themselves. I'd love to see the new 4k scan that was used for the Eureka release. I watched the Twilight time again tonight and the colors are a bit drab in that transfer, I haerd the Eureka looks stunning.

Having just watched it on the Eureka release I can tell you, wow, love it.
By the way, is it correct that this set on BD is region free? For some reason I have put the DVD in my cart and I usually only do that if the BD is region locked.

I'm not for sure, on the back of the box set it just says region A but in the info on blu-ray.com it says region A, B

I've been nagging at Criterion to release it soon. I had the Eureka release only to find out it wasn't region free. I got the DVD and the restoration was some of the worst I've ever seen! I'm hoping someone will release it soon.
As well as You were never lovelier, I know it's not as good as You'll never get rich, but anything with Rita and Fred is always great!

That's why i've held off from buying it, been thinking about getting a region free player though. I'd love Criterion to release both of those films though! I might hold of till then on it.

I really hope Mill Creek has more big collections of classic films lined up like this. I really enjoyed most of the Rita Hayworth films, but never would have bought them if they'd been released by kino at 20 bucks each.

Does Miss Sadie Thompson have a 3-D option in this set?

The Powerhouse RH releases are superior to Criterion and cost a lot less even when factoring in the cost of going region B.
