There were 10,000+ Jedi. Even if a hundred survived (I think it's only around 20-30 so far), the Galaxy would think they were all but extinct. And even if a thousand survived nothing says the inquisitors and Vader didn't hunt down dozens of them.

I agree. I so wish she would have made her way into the prequels as her role in anakins life ended up being quite important. It could be argued that a fourth prequel film could have been supported that covered more of the clone war period and Ahsokas time frame.

I’m very excited about this but scared too. It’s just the extreme hit and miss nature of these TV shows that they crank out. Some work out great and some are just despicable. Then, you have some that start good, like Mandalorian and they instantly turn to steaming shit in the middle of a season.

Not sure why anyone would take Obi Wan at his word, since he lied in his statement. Yet he did say that "Now the Jedi are all but extinct."

This does not really say they are all dead. Also his point of reference is narrow.

Narrow? "Vader and the Empire helped hunt down and destroy the Jedi" - the Empire at this time was pretty large and had a vast network of control around the galaxy. Seems to me that what was said by ObiWan supports that they DID have the time and resources to hunt down quite a lot of the Jedi. 100%? Not likely, no. But probably a big percentage. Even if some Jedi lived, they may have left the galaxy or gone into hiding anyways rendering them no longer able to do Jedi tasks. Some may have said screw it and took jobs cutting meat like ObiWan.

It didnt stop after Order 66 day either. That was just the beginning.

His point of reference is narrow because he has no way to communicate with anyone who exiled themselves. Recall the beacon he left to tell anyone out there to stay away from the Jedi temple.

Are you referencing external material about the aftermath of Order 66? Was that in a movie?

Look - I get that some Jedi did survive. I just dont think the number is high enough to have re-established the order as it was or anything close to it. Its fair to say that some survivors were scared off or simply "out" of the Jedi thing after that. Being on a hunted list sucks, right?

She was also a Padawan and not a full Jedi.
