It’s only bad compared to the Vincent Price movie. It’s a decent horror film in its own right.

Vincent Price had some odd movies in the 70s. Or was that the 30s? I truthfully don't remember this, nor the original with Price. I'd sure hope to find SF coming out with a UHD. Or, this movie will have to land in the bargain bin for me to pick it up.

To my great surprise two years later Amazon is still shipping this with slipcover. Just got mine in today after ordering a whole bunch of older Shout titles. This was the only one with a slip...

Always nice when that happens. I’m curious if we’ll get a 4K at some point along with Thir13en Ghosts & Ghost Ship.

My theory stands, even more now that it's 4 years since release and still slipped. While it probably is the weakest and least popular of the bigger Dark Castle titles (up til Gothika IMO), that's still not a good sign. Sadly, methinks none of these are getting 4K's.

I forgot this came out, I even saw this in theater but never vibed it enough to own it, very product of the time and not something I even think of when I'm wanting to watch horror type stuff. I always thought this era went too heavy ripping off Jeepers Creepers and Urban Legend type movies.

I recently picked up HOW and it had a slip for Wowhd so must not have sold well.

Valentine did not have a slip from same order. This was about 2 months ago now.

I am looking forward to rewatching HOW. We watched Ghost Ship on Netflix last week and it was a lot better than i remembered. 13 Ghost has been a long time ago will defo check it out.

But I loved HOW. The cast were so mid 2000s only thing I hate is the end credits song that blasts the second the films over. I remember running to turn it down or off haha about 10

Have held out on getting Shout's Collector's Edition Blu-ray of the House of Wax remake in case it gets a combo pack release. Have only seen it once (at the cinema) but would like to revisit it (remember thinking it was one of the better horror film remakes at the time).

I can see this getting the 4K treatment from Arrow. Same for Urban Legend 1+2 and even 3. A lot of those later Scream Factory WB/Sony titles seem ripe for Arrow to get 4K only rights to.

Yeah, if Mouth Of Madness was up for an upgrade from Arrow, stuff like this would be peanuts.
