It would be worth contacting them to make sure whether what I’m saying is true.

I'm tempted to sign up for the subscription but want to see how it goes for Canadian subscribers first. My main worry is they try to charge you for shipping each time a new blu-ray comes out.

Was this ever answered? $15 per shipment would make each title $40 US, which is too rich for my blood.

Sad to see all of these companies leave Vinegar Syndrome as they made it much easier for Canadians to get titles for somewhat reasonable prices. Getting hard to stay a collector when every title is $50+ for us after shipping, duty, and dollar conversion.

Hopefully they can look into setting up Canadian distribution.

For International Customers: I’m not sure where this started with 15 dollars but that shouldn’t be the case. We will be reaching out to you soon if you were charged the 15 dollars from Squarespace. When you sign up and if you read the welcome letter that is sent - the FIRST shipment of product is on us. You won’t pay anything. When the 2nd shipment goes out - you will be invoiced the ACTUAL amount it takes to get it to you. We DO NOT make up an arbitrary number to ship a product. We make zero dollars on shipping. Now, if shipping is expense to your country - there is an option to group items together. So, if you want us to wait a couple/few months to ship your items - we can do so. Again, we only charge the actual amount it takes to ship to you. If you have been charged the 15 dollars for international - please email chloe@graveface.com

For Domestic: If you are a sub - shipping is always included in your subscription.

For the Canadian subs, the shipping rates (based on my postal code) doing some quick math:

1 blu-ray --> $15.07 USD
2 blu-ray --> $17.39 USD = $8.70 per item
3 blu-ray --> $25.94 USD = $8.65 per item
4 blu-ray --> $38.05 USD = $9.51 per item
5 blu-ray --> $48.18 USD = $9.63 per item

Assuming these rates are correct and consistent across Canada, the sweet spot looks like shipping out in packages of 2 or 3

Good to know. All this said, we are looking at a couple distribution options but that may or may not happen. Once we get a little more on our feet with a bigger catalog- which will happen soon - we will probably have a better option for Canada.

Fun update for Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout: The previous releases for this have just been release tapes that were transferred. We have recently discovered the original tape masters for this flick and this will increase the clarity for our new release! More to come!

I love CDs. I’d definitely be down for one of The Gate. I’m still shocked Waxwork Records started releasing some.

I am looking to subscribe this month to get Attack of the Killer Refrigerator. How do I subscribe and then add Santa Claws to ship with it?

I rented this one a few times from my local video store. The microwave scene has stuck out in my mind for years. It's by no means reinventing the Slasher genre but it definitely has that early 2000s feel. Also, Morgan Spurlock has a cameo in it.

Obviously not expecting you to reveal something you're actually considering or working on, but maybe if there's something on a similar budget and obscurity level that you likely won't be doing for one reason or another as a point of reference.

Just curious to get a better idea of what to expect.

Nothing is really off the table. Terror Vision is being built off of everything that Ryan and I enjoy.

I would be into the mid-'00s stuff. There's a lot of great direct-to-video stuff from that time that gets overlooked. Fortunately, I snatched most of them up on DVD, so I have a lot of them.

That said, $24.99 + $5 shipping is a big ask for some of this stuff, especially if sourced from a tape master. I can sometimes justify the $19.99 ones with free shipping as a Vinegar Syndrome subscriber, but can't spring $30 for a tape master on blu-ray.
