The mockup pictures say yes, but that could change of course. I hope not. I like to have something for my standard Blu-ray players and Part One included it. Last I looked, Amazon didn't say it in their description.

That would be similar to the one I conjured on my post, the difference is the "Full 2.12" is windowboxed to maintain the proper size relationships between the Scope 2.39 Digital 1.90 and IMAX 1.43

I'm pretty sure it will look glorious in scope, but I think the framing looked immaculate in 1.90, so well composed. Simply breathtaking.

This is the full 2.12, the Scope version shows 90% of this height, the 1.90 version shows 90% of this width:

Are we sure it's 4K only? None of the listings I looked in made any mention of the number of disks.

If it is, the £35 they're asking for the UK steel is a disgrace. (I've pre-ordered it, but only because I generated a 20% off referral for myself ).

The artwork for the UK standard release only mentions the UHD disc, but the artwork for the US steelbook does say it includes a Blu-ray and the render for the UK version still shows a dual-disc hub. So I think there's a very good chance the UK steelbook will have a Blu-ray included, but of course it's good to wait for confirmation.

I haven't seen that date, but yes, I would consider it invalid. DV himself was adamant that there be nothing available but the theater experience for the first 45 days (or some number of days equal to several weeks).

As of this writing, the US listings I see at the following link are standard (1-disc) and steelbook (2-disc). Yet when you click through on them, they both list 4K and BD.

Yeah, I've been ordering from Wal-Mart since September, I believe. They are pretty good. I haven't ordered a Steelbook from them though and I was concerned about that.
