I like the initiative lol. I created a level but you play it and some friends play it and it's great and than a few more people play it and you realize how broken yours really is. I'm not too far , i've got about 25 hearts left ( maybe less if my first level get put back after moderation)

I thought it was funny that the MGS story dealt with people creating trophy levels, etc. Pretty funny.

One word of advice if you are creating a level (something besides a trophy level.) Play it yourself many, many times. Go in and try and break it. Try to jump off platforms when you're not supposed to and see where you fall. Let go of a winch and see if you get stuck. Etc. etc.

It's very time consuming - but I find it surprising how many levels start and run into a character that falls over cause it's not glued to the ground (seems a bit sloppy), or loose my grip on a hoist and fall and can't go anywhere - or fly over a wall that I'm not supposed to and end up off the board.

Just some tips if you are trying to create a solid level. (And even after you do ALL of those things, ask for feedback, you'd be surprised how many other little details you've missed sometimes.)

When I made my level, I got people to try it at my house before I published it.
If you create the level, you obviously know what you need to do at every part, but someone else has no idea. You'll find improvement spots much quicker by watching someone else play.

If you don't have anyone to play it locally, you can always publish the level, then play it two player and let the other person do everything. Make notes of where he gets stuck, what needs to change etc, then change the level and publish it again.

Ya that's what I ended up doing. I got a few of my girl friends to come by and play the game and that's when I realized how broke / hard my level was lol. That being said, there was a few of my other friends who ended up playing it and broken it worst than that. lol

I was really tempted to partake in one of these heart me threads. I had made about 3 levels and collectively only got about 6 player hearts. I was like **** THIS I QUIT, but I'm glad I stuck it out cause it felt so good when I hit the magic 30. Especially since I'm not very creative at all either.

I still need to hit people's levels. Marking everyone as creator got you on my list.

Quick tip to anyone trying to help out, find someone like me or BorrowedTime and see who we have hearted, then just fly though them. BT's hearted list helped save me from using the search function.

Added a second level. It's called LittleBigPaintRace.Small race level for two players, it has the paint gun .

I don't' know if it's today especially, but LBP level editor was really slow today. I'm not sure because I haven't touched it in a while but man, I was getting angry at how long it was taking for a simple rewind. I had relatively nothing in there or had done very little and it took FOREVER to rewind.

Only 8 more hearts needed on my levels for me to get the elusive platinum!! Thanks guys
