Picked this up for $20 from Gamestop today, already regret it. Frustratingly difficult, no so much the game as the controls.

Bloodborne’s Update 1.09

Changes to weapons
The strength and stamina cost for several weapons has been adjusted.

Changes to Insight Shop
・In order to trade for Blood Stone Chunks, the necessary amount of Insight has been changed from 30 to 20.
・Trading for the Blood Rock is now possible. 60 pieces of Insight are required.
※ A certain portion of the main game must been cleared in order to access the above.

Several other fixes and adjustments have been made.

Now that I'm finally on Christmas break (with my classes, at least) I need to get back to this. Forgot, though, just how close to the beginning my characters were (one on NG +). Hopefully I'll be able to actually reach the Old Hunters DLC before my next semester starts.

The only thing I want to do in Bloodborne now is try the Kos Parasite weapon, but I have to gain 10 arcane levels to be able to, and with my current level, that would take a long time, not sure if it's worth it, so I'll save it for a brand new playthrough

I've always thought the cost of chunks was waaaay too disproportionate. 20 is definitely an improvement, but I think 10 is more realistic. I mean, u can easily farm chunks in the Chalices, so nobody is going to pay 20 for these; 10 would be another story.

As for the Blood Rocks, this is just awesome. No more grinding thru NG+7.

I wish they only cost 40-50, but I'll take what I can get.

I got an email from Sony congratulating me on getting the Platinum, but there was no code for a theme. Whatever, I'd never use it anyway.

Well, back to Chalice Ebrietas violently killing me for the thousandth time.

Is that the time where you have that round thing in the middle of the room? If so that made the fight so much easier for me. I just keep on the side of it and run around it if she doesn that obnoxious charge/run move of hers.

No, this was the 3rd layer of Isz. I beat her by getting lucky with my AI partner not dying until near the end allowing me to thrust her butt for most of the battle.

Defeated Orphan of Kos tonight. He was much easier than Laurence the First Vicar. It took me about five tries to defeat Kos. After struggling with Laurence to the point of almost hating the game, I held off fighting Kos until I had almost completed my NG+ playthrough and had leveled up a bit. All I have left to do now is beat Gehrman and Moon Presence and I will have completed the game on NG+.

I know a lot of people are probably done playing this or at least slowing down but I had a quick question.

In your experience which boss or bosses do you find the best to help people out with? I've tried to get summoned into other people's games to help them(trying to get insight to purchase some blood chunks and rocks)but it takes forever.

i havent finished it .. but then again i havent even turned my system on in a week now ....what level you are at is what is likely causing issues ... you have to be within like 10 or 20 levels of people to summon/be summoned

Ah that's right! They should have removed that and just kept it to playthroughs. So as long as you're both on first playthrough or NG+++ you can link up regardless of each other's level.
