That score just reminds me how much I love Halloween 2 and how hard it is going to be to make my brain forget it exists when watching the new film.

There’s an extra timeline I haven’t seen mentioned yet. Technically, the Producer’s Cut of H6 is a separate timeline primarily because Loomis survives in it.

Haha! Sorry. I always thought that H20 voiceover was strange, not just because it didn't even sound like Loomis but because it was just reciting lines that Loomis said in the original film, so they could have simply used actual audio excerpts of Donald Pleasence's real voice.

What I also found strange was that in the documentary on the H20 disc someone said they got a voice actor who was able to imitate Pleasence and that someone who knew Pleasence confirmed it sounded just like him. When I heard that I was like, “Huh? That sounds nothing like Pleasence!” What a joke.

Looking forward to seeing the single take sequence in the new Halloween. I’m guessing it will follow Michael from the streets on Halloween night to a murder in one of the houses. If it cuts in with the old theme I’m going to get goosebumps on the night.

I wonder if Michael cares who he kills. Surely he wants to kill Laurie, but I wonder if he wants to kill random people too just for the hell of it.
