Good luck on pounding that thru some skulls here, we know, others and myself have made many post describing the differences to no avail. It is .

Now I am drinking Peach iced tea. It's a little more complicated: pour bottled sweet tea over ice and then add a shot or two of bottled peach juice. Stir. The great thing about this method is that you can decide just how peachy you want your iced tea to be.

Both are quite good.

Default Coax and fiber termination

Below are some videos showing the procedure to terminate the cables. For our fiber frame equipment I purchased pre-made fiber cables. We contracted for some of our data lines coming in and they used single mode fiber. Those guys spent many hours just to terminate a few fiber cables.

I can strip RG6 cable and install a F6 Snap and Seal connector in a about a minute using professional tools. I use Belden and CommScope cable, F6 Snap and Seal connectors and a Sargent compression tool.

I watched the entire video on fiber. The word ' arduous' comes to mind.

Every ice cube in your iced tea removes 3 grams of sugar; it's a scientific fact!

Back when I Retired in 1996, I Contracted and had all those Professional Tools to make and Terminate RJ11, RJ45, RG6, but no Fiber connectors. I still have some of those tools in a black leather satchel. It was fairly easy to make Wall Jacks for RJ11 and RJ45, but the Cables were easier to buy them pre-made. I did make a few Coax Cables, working as a Tech in my Palm Desert Community of 5000 homes. Forget about those Fiber connectors, they look like a lot of work.

When I bought my first projector in 1999, a common goal of hobbyists was trying to re-create the theater experience.

I started with a 150 pound CRT front projector capable of 480p. And my initial audio system was computer speakers.
After 20 years of upgrades here and there, I have a system so engaging I can't believe I put together on my own. It's better than my local "real" theater (partially because my local real theater is the worst I have ever been to.) Where I live you have to go 80 miles to get to a up to date multiplex.

I'd rather not go to drive ins.

Brian, below is my setup from 1985. The projector was a Kloss Novabeam Model 1A, it was a composite NTSC only but did have a video bandwidth of about 6 MHz. NTSC broadcast was limited to 4.2 MHz. I had a Pioneer test LaserDisc but I can not remember what the actual H and V resolution was but it was the best affordable consumer projection picture at the time. NASA had a projector at the time that used a oil film technology but that was many time over my budget at the time.

In Canada HULU doesn’t exist, Amazon Prime Video if it’s not included in my shipping subscription I will not pay because the video quality sux b@llz, Disney+ is useless as the movies I care about I already have the physical media and their system doesn’t allow me to choose and play (say) all Mickey’s shorts (I have to choose at the end of each 3-5 minutes shorts.

So, for me, there is no competition. Netflix only for me.

I made the right choice from the beginning: I buy my content on physical media where gutless streaming service executives and equally spineless studios can not edit, remove, and censor content.

Artistic integrity means nothing to the likes of you; all you want is convenience and cheap access to whatever streaming services have on crap; oops, I meant to say "on tap."

Subscription streaming, in short, sucks, which is why I pay them exactly what they are worth: nothing.

As for pounding things in, it would be easier to drive an egg noodle through a granite block than to get through to some people around here.

Disney has dropped the free preview period, AT&T has dropped ‘Watch TV’ Sign-Ups and the churn rate is the highest it has ever been for streamers. It will interesting to see if the streaming pay TV (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) providers continue to make it easy to cancel service or if they adopt many other providers method where you have to call a call center to cancel.

No need to cancel when one doesn't pay them.

I wouldn't be surprised if subscription streaming services began to require commitments of varying durations when signing up for their service much like what happens with satellite TV. It would be one way to keep people from bouncing from one free trial offer to another; lock their subscribers in place for "X" number of months in order to get some promotional price.

I'm kind of limited by the stuff people share (willingly) with me for free that is

HBO Max
Hulu (with live TV)
Netflix

But I rarely use any of them. I do have and use prime.
