What is the story behind the whole trial thing? I have TTK and this only comes up on my secondary characters, is it expecting me to buy the expansion for each character? It doesn't appear to be limiting me in any way so I can't work it out.

Yeah, when I log in it says "Maximum Trial Level Reached" and asks me to buy TTK. I can just exit out of it and play my game as normal so I don't really understand. I don't get it on my first character just my secondaries.

Just to make sure, I'd buy the game (expansion) two more times. One for each "secondary" character. You can never be too safe these days with technology.

Today, the Gunsmith gave me "The Sleeper Stirs" 280 Quest.

Does that have to be done today?
Does anyone know?

I might not be able to get to it today is why I ask.
Did any of you guys wait an extra day to finish the Strike part of the Exotic Quest?

This happened to me and a buddy last night.

We ran the strike, one guy got the gun and two of us got a quest.

Had to run the strike a 2nd time.

I suggest you make a real effort to get it done today. There are numerous speculations regarding this matter, but no hard answers. Initially, it was mentioned that this whole "event" wouldn't happen for another month, but we were given another crack at it a day later. If I were you, I would try to get it done just to be sure.

The whole thing doesn't take but 10-15 minutes with the Warsat cheese. If you do get a chance to do it today, I would be happy to help you with it.

On a side note; I am feeling somewhat discouraged at the moment. Both the Nightfall and Xur used to be two exciting weekly events I looked forward to. Not only was it something to do with all 3 characters and a shot at some loot, it was a fun challenge that felt worth it. Right now, the Nightfall is just not worth the effort anymore due to the ludicrously shitty "rewards", and Xur consistently showing up with Year 1 crap is really starting to piss me off.

I never had much of an issue with RNG before, but after the hype over Bungie's bold but (obviously) bullshit statements about "not getting duplicates" I just wasn't expecting the duplicates to be even worse than they were during Y1, and it's honestly wearing me down. Out of the 40 or so Exotic engrams I have decoded so far, I have literally gotten "The Stag" 11 times, with "Light Beyond Nemesis" coming in second at 8 times. Then there are the 4 Hawkmoons I received, and a number of Insurmountable Skullforts / Knucklehead Radars. One could argue the "stats" vary from one piece of armor to the next, but that still doesn't justify this nonsense.

It is sad to see that they've put in the work to make the game more fun to play, but amped up the RNG meter to something far beyond unnecessary, exaggerated and downright ridiculous. I won't even get into the raid loot, because that's arguably even worse, and would only serve to irritate me more.

It's a glitch to get "into" the map, and basically sit inside the game world right underneath the warsat. It allows you to scan it and progress the transmat...but the enemies can't shoot you.

Here's a video that'll show you how to do it. Granted, it's cheating, but it's also a guaranteed win. If you can't figure it out, I will do the strike with you later and talk you through it.

I was wondering about that too.

We usually kill a bunch of Fallen in the Forgotten Shore to get our Supers before we try to conquer the Warsat part using bubbles.
If there's an easier way, I'm all for it!
