Yep. He confirmed it at comic-con last year, Thanos would have a role, we don't know how prominent, and it would help tie the movie into the larger MCU.

I have a feeling this will be a "cult" Marvel film. I think a lot of people will go just because they don't want to be "lost" when they see the upcoming Avengers 2. I think it will be the lowest grossing of the Marvel films unless it gets decent reviews and good word of mouth. I'm getting a 50/50 vibe from most people. Either they love the trailers and the premise or they think it's dumb. Time will tell..

Because Rocket's a person. If you can have a conversation with someone, chances are that person is not pet material. Saying you want Rocket as a pet is not substantively different than saying you want Gamora or Drax as a pet.

He's a talking animal character. I wouldn't constitute that as a person, but hey I'm not going to argue what is and isn't a "person" in a comic book movie.
