I'm sure they will. Mine always do, anyway.

That's why you befriend these delivery guys. Hauling big heavy boxes ain't easy.

Thanks. I've had some issues with FedEx freight deliveries in the past, they would only drop it off at end of my driveway.

Still do not know how to make it fit, will have to take another look at it tonight. That thing is huge, cannot just place it anywhere, need to make sure I can put it in a place that makes sense.

IMHO, ImPulSive, but I don't see a point in getting such a bad ass sub if you can't "put it in a place that makes sense". That doesn't make much sense.

You could always try nearfield or maybe even as an end table.

As always, good ol' sub crawl to the rescue

Yes, what I am thinking as well. As room is laid out right now, I am afraid that it will only fit in a corner and right now that may not work well, boomy.

Just play around with it.

For the record, I use my PSA subs as speaker stands. Definitely not the ideal location but, with REW and minor tweaking, I am super duper happy with the setup.

As always, YMMV! But I think it's so worth the try. V1800 is a monster.

I had to take a pass. I could not find a room layout that would allow me to use it without just squeezing it in there, unable to move it around and place it properly. No guarantees that this one location will sound proper, even if I use some sort of processing, risky, and even then it would be in the way. Simply put I need a bigger room to accommodate it and permit multiple placement options to optimize output. Since I cannot do that, it just did not make any sense to get it. I was curious to see how much damage that 18 inch driver would do too. Oh well, shelf that with my Tesla Model S P90D Ludicrous and other wish list items...

Never say never

Things always change. You might swap out furniture or change the layout or, heck, even move to a different house. You never know...

Also, looking at your signature, it's not like you have under-performing gear. So, enjoy what you have.

If I could I would love quad T-18s in a espresso veneer. Hey, a man can dream...

Hi all,

Just a heads up, two brand new V3600i subs in the outlet center for $1799 each or $3499 for both.

Each of these has one small blemish that we have photos of(see our facebook page). You won't get this type of pricing again..

I guess Tom and Jim always have something up their sleeves

Check out the new S3600i, a dual 18" driver with 1700W amp and enough muscle to make you require diapers before watching movies (okay, I added that on my own ):

http://www.powersoundaudio.com/products/s3600i

"The S3600i offers an unheard of value in the audio industry. Dual high efficiency 18" drivers, a conservatively rated 1700W amplifier with ICEpower® sound technology, and a brand new dual opposed enclosure that relies on Newton's third law of motion to completely cancel all reactive energy. The end result is a subwoofer that extends into the single digits in all but the largest of rooms, offers vision blurring mid and upper bass capabilities, and does all of this while remaining completely inert."
[Show spoiler]
Features

Two, USA built, proprietary 18" drivers with powerful motor strength and efficiency.
Patented digital ICEpower® 1700W amplifier with DSP control
CNC precision cut cabinets that are finished in our industry exclusive satin black texture

CEA-2010 Ratings

Ultra-low bass (20-31.5 Hz): 120.7dB
Low bass (40-63Hz): 132.1dB

*Subtract 9dB for an equivalent RMS 2m ground plane measurement distance.

Hi all,

Quick heads-up.

The XS15se and XV15se are both available again. New orders will ship in about 3 weeks(ish). Anyone that has been waiting on these please don't hesitate. It is becoming increasingly difficult to fit these into our cabinet production schedule and I cannot say when we'll be able to do another run at this time.

Thanks!

Power Sound Audio T-18 update.

The T-18 will now include an updated amplifier with much more user control and setup flexibility. The amplifier still offers the same power for the T-18---4000 watts for 110-120v and 6000 watts for 220-240v applications so there won't be any difference in the maximum output capabilities. (see amplifier silk screen/controls here https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/01...01259786352192 )

We will have the new amplifiers in stock in approximately 30 days. Because of this delay in shipping we're offering the following discounts on any new T-18 orders.

A single T-18 is now $2749, down from the regular price of $2999. DUAL T-18s are now $5199, down from the regular pricing of $5699. This pricing will only last for a short time so please don't hesitate if you are interested in experiencing one of the most powerful home audio subwoofers available.

We will also be offering an upgrade program for any existing Triax and T-18 owners. Give us a few days to get these details worked out and I'll update you as soon as possible.

Hi all, long overdue update!

As of today (4-13-2016) all products are in stock in the Satin Black finish. A new order would ship within one business day in nearly all cases. We even have a good amount of the wood veneer options in both S1500 and S3000i models. So for those who demand "instant gratification"(you don't like waiting weeks or even DAYS for shipping notices when you place an order)---now is the perfect time to order regardless of your product preference..

Also, we have updated all the Satin Black products to have a nice 3/4 inch round over instead of the "hard edge" look too. This seems like it would be a very subtle thing visually but actually softens up the appearance of the products a good bit and just makes them look a bit smaller.

How has this thread sat dormant for 3 months?!

Anyway, I'm sad to report that I lost my XV15se to a lightning strike. Making a lot of progress on the insurance hassle. I definitely look forward to having my HT back up and running with a new 15V.

Ouch, sorry to hear that, Steve. Coincidentally I was actually just going to PM you regarding our old MFW-15 amp discussion when I saw this thread pop up. Hope everything works out, and let us know how the 15V is.

Will do for sure. I still have (at least) one more hurdle to jump prior to submitting all my paperwork and that's to have an electrician come out to the house and verify that a couple more things were damaged in the surge. Hopefully we'll get everything submitted this week.

I recently picked up a pre owned XV15SE to use in my stereo room, replacing a Polk PSW1000. Very nice upgrade.

I feel it blends better sonically with my speakers, and doesn't command attention, except when called upon.

I feel it's fair to say that it's as good of quality (in build, SQ, & output) as any SVS, which I own as well, in different systems.

Very glad it has the variable phase control. The PSW1000 did not, simply 0°/180° switch. The single 15" holds its own quite well, as opposed to the dual 10's in the Polk.

Hard to see from the pic, but this placement is where it ended up. It's roughly 2 feet from the side wall, and one foot from the rear wall.
