But wouldn't you rather spend $20 on a season pass for real DLC rather than a packet of dances? And when you think about it, if you buy dances, you're just subsidizing the cost of content for those who really don't care about such things. But maybe their market research suggests otherwise, that gamers are more likely to be outraged over buying game content than goofy stuff.

Don't waste money on the $20 pack. I regret buying it. Grab all the bounties you can, and that will help level your guardians up. The game is quite different now compared to when it first came out.

exactly. The whole point of the emote sales is to provide continuous revenue to fund the operating expenses of running and maintaining the game.

If you could buy the emotes for grind-able "currency" it would completely defeat the purpose.

This isn't a "here's these cool emotes, let's charge people for them!" situation. It's a "we need money to run this game, why don't we sell them hats"

Nowhere in that statement from Bungie did they say all future DLC would be free.

Well, this kind of sucks. Fired up my PS4 tonight and connected to the new network and find 73Mbs.

But it seems everyone in North America is downloading the Destiny update, so it really makes no difference. Preparing to download (83%).
