Thanks for clearing that up. Knowing it's the standard edition of the game with the controller, I'll just order the collector's edition. I need a new controller, but not desperately, and it's not like I'm missing out on anything by not buying this less than extraordinary variant of the DualShock 3

Holy sh.... either this is a major fluke, or I'm about to cancel my Collector's Edition PRE ORDER from Game and make it an ORDER from Play

Btw, does anyone know if Game.co.uk is good with pre-orders? I only took free delivery instead of paying extra for better, and I'm a bit concerned it won't arrive on the day of release. Anyone get previous experience?

Ive recieved most orders from GAME a day early with free delivery last one being Mass Effect 2, ive never recieved one late yet. I have also had a couple early deliverys from play.com but i seem to remember Shin-ra recieving Prince of Persia about 4 days late from Play.com

Don't fall for it. They've done this in the past only to deliver on release-date Friday, if not later.

Not quite fair to blame Play for that one.

In the Single Player KZ3 demo the Move turning sensitivity/acceleration increases to an uncomfortably twitchy level when getting into the jetpack but they're fixing it apparently:

Guest-41: Will the turn speed bug in the single player demo while using the jetpacks with the PS Move be fixed at the full release?

TBH I've not done too bad with Play on pre-orders I've had them as early as the Wednesday, but I've not had anyhting on pre-order with Play for a while so things my have changed.

Yeah it really is pot luck and with all retailers many will get it early, most on release day and an unlucky few will get it late and for the unlucky few they probably wont use that retailer again

I've taken a gamble with Killzone 3 as I've not pre-ordered it so I'm just going to go to Game and hopefully get the CE over the counter

I would still go in the store and preorder it there. they wont get many CE instore infact CE might even need to be preorders

I found the best place to order from to get it early is shopto.net they offer a small refund if you dont recieve it by release day, only a few quid but they make sure you get it and often its 2 days early. they are normaly cheaper than every where else too. i didnt use them this time as i dont think they are carrying the CE
