I really don't want to have to deal with selling one on Ebay especially when it looks like it will still be in stock with retailers.
Call them.

But hey, it seems to be selling ok so maybe they're smarter than I am.
Well even if they wanted to, they couldn't per the contract they have with WB.

That being said, making the DC only available as a limited premium item would be IMO a huge dick move for a number of reasons and I can't imagine Clive Barker would be okay with that.

Click order details and it will give you the option to gift wrap. I have the option to get it gift wrapped.

So what's the deal I gift wrapping? Does it guarantee that it will be shipped in a box?

Well derr...

I thought I heard I would get it shipped with a box if I used their gift wrapping service before. Was wondering if anyone knows for sure?

Other users claimed that yes, gift wrapping means the item is wrapped and then placed in a box for shipping.

It's so strange; it absolutely did not allow me to change to gift packaging earlier, which I was disappointed about since the page became live again, but it's there now, right in the same place I was looking prior. Even the rep couldn't find it. Oh well, all sorted now!

I can't answer your question, although everybody I've read on here has stated they ship in a box; if anyone can answer differently I'll go back to regular packaging (as there's no point paying $3.XX otherwise).

Can you apply CC rewards points after a pre-order (Amex or Amazon Visa)? I see how to change payment options but it doesn't seem to offer points. Maybe if you 'retry' the same payment type? I don't know.

well it looks like as of right now they dropped the price on amazon slightly down as it now stands at 71.97 for an $8.00 savings.

Not really the point though. Fact is it's $55 extra to own the theatrical cut and extras, which haven't been announced yet and a folded up poster.

Honestly, I don't even care about getting a poster. I just want the DC, the TC and the bonus features disc. Nothing else.

Yes, and that's preferable to making it $55 dollars extra to view the Director's Cut.

It's all but confirmed now that there is no DVD coming with the Limited Edition version, so can someone fix this in our own Blu-ray.com database entry, which is still using the mock-up cover for a Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD combo that will not exist?

It needs to be confirmed by Shout as their initial cover art clearly states Blu-ray -DVD Combo. I

Yes, their initial cover art, but since then they've changed it and the decription clearly indicates this is a 3 disc Blu-ray set. Maybe once we get more info on the bonus features, they'll confirm it.

This is the product listing on their site. The cover art does not indicate DVD nor does the product description.

Because Warner charged a Buttload for the licensing fee. The extra money is for the Theatrical Cut and a few extra features. By the Directors Cut by itself if the cost is to rich for you.
