I use to listen to them on my ipod at work years ago. Never saw any of their videos. Still like the music.

Hit the other half of the room. At about 95%. Good enough. Lately my mood has been pretty good and been wanting to clean the apt a bit. This getting my shower redone is just the bump I needed. Certainly wasn't the city inspection last week that pushed me.

On top of all that I am reorganizing my movies and tv shows a bit. I like where its headed.

I got another video game coupon in my app. $10 off $50 or more from Target.

Target is tempting me again.

I just placed an order from Amazon France and while I paid in USD, I didn't think much about the converted rate for the entire order but checking XE, and the film at €15.47 is only about $15.88. It's about €1 = $1.02 right now. I have never seen the Euro and the US dollar this close before. Now would be a really good time to go back to Europe

Just got switched from 1 M-F location to another, at least they did it before my shift started this time lol.

And a second supervisor just asked me lol, bit amusing.

I asked seven billionaires, “what’s the secret to your success?” And they all said the same thing.
“How did you get into my mansion?”

Finally heard back from the dentist office today. The estimate for my filling is $285. They couldn't fit me in this Friday, so I'll have to wait until next Friday to go back in.

Hope they take care of you M24.

Won't be home and showered until maybe 10pm and that's definitely later than I'd like to start a movie but I am off tomorrow. Not sure if I'll watch one or not. I could always start a new series.

There's this little girl that my coworker babysits. I think she's 4 and she is so adorable. I would seriously considering adopting her if I could. Just the cutest thing

Thinking about going back to school, been looking at a college tuition program through my employer but it seems it's mostly for business management, something I'm not really interested in. I wouldn't mind trying to get into IT or something. Otherwise a trade school would likely be a better fit for me. I have my G.I. bill but I was saving it for my daughter to use after high school if she chooses to go to college. I've been out of school for 15yrs, is it too weird/late to go back? Kinda getting tired of only working "dead-end" unskilled labor-intensive jobs.

People go back to school at all ages, for all sorts of reasons.

I'm not sure of the current rules, or what was in place when you served, but I remember that there was, at one time at least, a limited period to use your G.I. Bill benefits. So, don't take for granted that it's always going to be there. I've seen other veterans not use their benefits for years, and end up letting their access to the funds expire without them knowing that that was even a possibility.

Been watching Three's Company reruns via DVD and enjoying the heck out of it. Why did Jenilee Harrison leave the show after just one season? I liked her.

Jenilee was underrated, to be sure. If you need more JH goodness, check out Tank and Loverboy's "Lovin' Every Minute of It" (around the 1:42 mark):

Were you in the military Mike? I never knew if you were. I think the G.I. Bill was good for 10 years after your discharge date. Not sure if there was a way to extend it.

My dad retired from the Army a few years ago. He was a recruiter, a station commander of a recruiting station and then was a counselor at the place where you choose your MOS and do all of the paperwork before going to basic. I just asked him and he said that as long as you got out with an honorable discharge you can use the GI Bill whenever. There is no statue of limitations or so.

If you're going into IT, with military experience I'd skip college and go directly to the certs and work experience (which is how most people learn) if you can find it.

Networksing: Cisco
Software: any good language will do but Python and Java are good starters
Database: SQL variants are pretty much necessary these days for even entry-level office work
Cloud databases/ops in high demand: Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Salesforce
Hardware/Dev Ops or Cybersecurity certs are still in demand but I'm not familiar enough with them, so I won't give advice in that arena.
