Spooky season rolls on with more Rob Zombie! Here's the last two of his Firefly trilogy. It also dawned on me that these movies were made to have a worn looking cover. I also added a worn looking one for House of 1000 Corpses. 3 From Hell has a Blu-ray Variant as well. Uploaded to the usual places and feel free to pm me for them as well.

House of 1000 Corpses (worn)

The Devil's Rejects

Holy crap! Lots of good suggestions. I decided to tackle the modern title suggestion from Sage00...couldn't decide which VHS style to go with so I made 3 options

This one is inspired by a custom VHS cover I found online.

Did a cover for the 1999 Clint Eastwood film True Crime. Designed to mirror it's DVD counterpart.

PM if you want a link to download.

Is that the exact dimensions for a Blu-ray cover as well? Also what type of printer works the best for printing high quality industry looking covers?

This is standard legal sized paper like any other printer paper. Covers will need to be trimmed but you can fit a standard DVD size cover or any of the standard Blu Ray covers onto this paper. (The only blu ray cases I haven't been able to fit has been larger 10 disc style cases).

I use Undercover 10 to print covers.

https://www.emdb.eu/undercover10/software.htm

This software comes with several pre-loaded sizing templates but I've also added my own for Viva elite cases and Criterion cases. The templates use simple measures such as 111 x 111 for instance so making adjustments is easy.

All covers are printed onto the above paper. It's double sided and glossy and feels very much like a standard retail Blu Ray cover circa 2010. (Some of the more recent Blu Rays I've bought have been using a cheaper/thinner paper which I dislike... this is not that).

I use a newer version of the following printer for it's ability to print directly onto discs as well as being a very good photo printer.

Amazon

If printing directly onto DVD-R/CD-r/BD-R isn't something you need than any photo printer will work.

When it comes to cutting out covers I use this...

Do you plan on finishing the trilogy to match?

Now a dumb question. How does one save this post so that they are not relooking for it through over a 1k pages of posts?

Save the page into a pdf file. Right click and that's it.

Didn't know a thread of custom art covers existed until now. Here are a few covers that I've done for my five favorite films as custom oldschool (Early DVD Era) Criterion covers. They aren't great but I really loved doing these. I still have more but I'll post a full cover of Daughters of Darkness which is the only full cover I've done so far.

It's probably easiest to just pm me or re-ask in the thread here. I tend to re-post it every few months when someone asks.
