Oh nevermind. I don't have 9, I have 3. You know, the ones that came with the $20 package with the emotes. Complete waste of money if you ask me.

I have a question: since now the light works on the damage/defense level of all equipment, and that even a common item can be higher than an exotic item, is there any reason to seek exotic (and legendary) weapons anymore?

Is there any other reason to play this game?

Seriously, though, one 300 light weapon is not the same as another, damage-wise or perks-wise

Exotic and Legendary gear can be infused to a higher light level.
They have more perks per item, also.
Common and Rare gear can't be infused. They're stuck at their current level and have less perks.

Not sure if this is coincidence but I was playing Iron Banner the other day and it was on the Bannerfall map. I was capturing point C alone and just after I captured it, I jumped up to the surrounding ledge but as I did that I noticed a prompt to press

I went back and noticed a panel on the wall and a prompt to say 'Open Hanger Windows' so I did this and noticed some window shutters opening just above point C which revealed a ship in a hanger. I wondered what the purpose of this was and thought 'Hey I wonder if I'll get a ship as a reward' low and behold after the game finished a ship dropped for me called 'Hebridean Thoughtcrime'

Like I said it may have been coincidence but if anyone else can do this then it maybe a hidden reward. I'll try it again if Bannerfall ever comes round again

That's awesome. I wonder if opening the hangar is directly tied to getting the reward.

Yes, it is. Faction exotic class items can be equipped with other exotic armor.

When they said common stuff can be higher than exotic, they meant the Year Two common items vs. Year One exotics. You're not gonna find a Year Two common item with 310 light like you would an exotic, plus what everyone else has already mentioned about perks and such

did the raid in one sitting on saturday. got another auto rifle and a 310 telesto, and a raid cloak. infused the telesto into my sniper and im now 305.

working on exotic sword now. heavy wpn and ghost are my weakest links. at the part where you have to collect the rare materials
