I had no idea. I checked my inventory and I do have 2 umbilical cords. I am going to watch vids to find the third one.

Thanks for the tip!

Defeated 6 uninspiring bosses in two Chalice Dungeons. Fun places to explore, though.

Defeated another boss. This battle reminded me of Soul of Cinder (DS3). Wasn’t too difficult and I didn’t parry.

Anyway, I paid the $20 for The Old Hunters DLC. Apparently, my disc didn’t include it.

Abhorrent Beast, how I hated you! Loved this game when I played it years ago. Probably had 12 ulcers though once I was done with it.

Defeated another boss. My first DLC boss and this took almost 50 attempts. I used Fire Paper for the first time. This boss is like Oceiros (DS3), but 10 times harder.

I didn’t think that I would be able to beat him unless I summoned an NPC for help. Didn’t need to.

Defeated another boss. I used Bolt Paper for the first time. I am disappointed with the amount of Echoes that I am getting.

Defeated another boss. I can’t believe it. I ended up using my pistol to parry her and also my Fire Paper. I never parried a boss in Bloodborne before. Lady Maria has a bit of Gehrman in her attacks.

Defeated another boss. Kos was super tough!! This took around 110 tries. Phase 2 was nuts. His movements were haphazard and I ended up just rolling and striking using Fire Paper. I have no clue how I beat Kos.

There’s an unlimited (ammo) cannon glitch that was discovered about a week ago. You need to have the Whirlygig Saw and obviously the cannon. Fun little glitch.

I do have the Whirlygig Saw, but not the cannon.

I just defeated Laurence! I can’t believe it! This took almost 300 tries. I almost gave up. I had to use 3 Bolt Papers & 17 Blood Vials in phase 2. The only tip I can offer is to dodge roll his attacks and get behind him.

I only got around 30K Echoes for defeating him. This boss fight took 5 days.

Onto the final boss.......Moon Presence.

OMG! I just finished Bloodborne! I feel awesome!

[Show spoiler]

Moon Presence took 8 tries. I used a Bolt Paper & rushed him in phase 2.

My final thoughts........

I love the Gothic & Victorian-look and style of Bloodborne. I really liked the ability to gain back some or all of your health on counter-attacks. Majority of boss fights were easy with 3 beaten on my first try. This game relies mostly on offense and less on defense, imo. Also, I prefer the lamps for checkpoints instead of the bonfires. I like the purple hue.

Otherwise, this game does feel short in terms of areas to explore. Plus, there seems to be less variety in terms of attributes to upgrade, items to collect, weapons, and types of uniforms to customize your character. Btw, I am comparing to DS2 & 3. Also, I didn’t like the
[Show spoiler]alien encounters
.

My fave boss.......

Top 3 difficult bosses:
1- Laurence, The First Vicar (The hardest boss that I have ever played against!!!)
2- Orphan of Kos
3- Daughter of the Cosmos

The most boring boss is Rom The Spider. The most difficult area was Fishing Hamlet.

I paid $15 for the base game & $20 for the DLC. I definitely got my money’s worth from the DLC. Overall, this is a very, very good game!

Git Gud!!

I've left this to stew a while. Finishing off Halo Guardians, then probably will do some more Bloodborne. I'm still in the forbidden woods.

So this game has UFO/alien encounters?! Say what now?

It mixes in Lovecraft elements, and it’s fantastic. To me it makes the lore far more interesting than just your basic Victorian werewolf setting that you think the game initially is.

Cool, thanks for your thoughts and experience with Bloodborne, Victory. Way to go completing the game! I'm looking forward to playing it soon too.

Oh good job finishing! I wonder if you'll do another Dark Souls game now.

Oh yeah. I just started Dark Souls 1. Trying to get accustomed to those game controls is a challenge.

Thanks Victory. I had a chance to play some Lords of the Fallen and I like it so far. I'll play more next chance I get, but it looks great and plays nicely too so far anyway.

Bloodborne on disc I'll start later this month. Just have to balance a lot of new games I added.

Yes, enjoy Dark Souls 1. That will be a good challenge I bet.

I'm slowly getting through Bloodborne. I like it. At first, I thought I was supposed to defeat that wolf and was thinking how punishing even the first enemy was, but then I decided to just run past him after dying 5 times and got out into the town, which is really where the game starts, as you fight the villagers.

I like that sickle type weapon that unfolds and can be sliced either way. The chain is cool, and more stuff to find. I can understand why fans would want to see this in 4K 60 fps, considering it's a 2015 game.
