This year it's taken longer than it's previously done for me to adjust to the reduction in hours of daylight. And yet, autumn/fall is my favourite season of the year (closely followed by winter). I was going to watch the original Halloween and Halloween II last Monday and Tuesday night, but due to feeling a bit off earlier last week I decided not to watch them (instead leaving watching both of them until later on in November).

When the clocks go back an hour in the autumn/fall you really notice the difference (it getting darker earlier), but after a while and you adjust to it, you don't mind it too much.

I heard recently that apparently it's changing in the States with the clocks going forward and back an hour (it's being scrapped in a few years' time, apparently. No sign of that happening here).

Yeah man...gets dark at like 5 now and it definitely feels so much later. I looked at my watch today and couldn't believe it was only 10:30. It felt like 2 in the afternoon.

Does anyone else use DiabolikDVD.com?
I ordered Highlander and got hit with a double charge. Is this normal? Does it drop off?
I emailed them even though it is late, hopefully I get a response tomorrow.

I've ordered from them almost a dozen times now in just the last two years and have never noticed that before. I find them very reliable.

Saw your reply in the Highlander thread. Strange how they didn't get back to you yet. I've never had a double charge but I usually pay them through PayPal.

That's what's odd, I used PayPal to pay them.
I had $11 in it.
$47.99 was what I was hit with twice, via PayPal.
I called this morning, Jesse said it should drop off after a few days.
I'll see what happens on Friday.

My neighbor built this elaborate chicken coop for some strange reason. I guess to feel like they live on a farm? Well one of his chickens wandered onto my property today. My dog is going ballistic trying to get it LOL.

I tried to get it as well but it is just too fast for me. They made it so easy in Zelda.

I went to a sports store yesterday with my dad to buy my brother a shotgun and noticed there was a sports card convention going on at the hotel next next to it. I hadn't even heard of those being a thing since the early 1990's but I guess trading cards are popular again, weird.

Covid made them insanely popular again, though it is not like the cards you and me remember for a buck a pack at the local store down the street. Most of the high value cards are now newer or current, 1 of 1 type auto cards from that years class of rookies that look promising and in sets that can run thousands for a box of 2 cards. It is no longer a kids hobby as it is now 95+% adults buying, trading and selling cards for thousands to even millions a pop. Values on cards also seem to be highly volatile, if a player has a bad year his card value can plummet like a rock.

Surprised to get a catalog in the mail from some store called Clickii that sells Blu-rays and DVDs (but no UHD despite it being a browse option on their website, or CDs despite it saying so on the catalog cover). Never heard of them before and this was a targeted mailing, so I must've gotten this because I shopped at a Universal Pictures Home Entertainment store? This is the second time I've gotten a catalog in the mail recently (the first being Movies Unlimited). Had no idea mail catalogs were still a thing, especially for physical media.
