Michigan's defense is beyond pathetic, if they had half a competent defense they could be a 10 win team with that offense. As for the Miami/Maryland game, we didn't play well at all but were able to gut out a win. Stephen Morris played very up and down as I expected, the kid is very talented with a cannon for an arm but he made some poor decisions. But he was money on that last drive, he showed great poise in the end. If Jacory Harris continues to play inconsistent, it could be a very interesting offseason for Miami in terms of the media coverage regarding the quarterbacks on the roster. (Especially if Bridgewater sticks with his verbal commitment)

Hawaii on a bit of a roll here, still not on Boise's side of the field, need a score down 13-0, really should be 20-0 or 21-0. Jeez so many Hawaii passes almost intercepted.

TCU is badly outplaying Utah. Already up 14-0 near the end of the 1st quarter. If any non-BCS makes the national title game it's more likely to be TCU than Boise due to strength of schedule.

EDIT - 20-0 TCU now. This game is quickly getting out of reach for Utah. Really surprising. I thought with the game @ Utah it would be a close one.

So close! Man wide open after the defender fell down, almost 20-0 there. Northwestern thumping Penn State 14-0.

TCU should solidify their position ahead of Boise St. if this score holds against Utah. As long as either Auburn or Oregon loses there a very strong chance TCU makes the title game.

Oregon's usually great offense has been completely shut down by Washington so far. Game is 3-3 in the 2nd. Too bad Jake Locker is out or Washington might win this one.

That's crap, especially after Boise State beat TCU in the bowl game last year. LOL Hawaii called a timeout so there was a review, 20-0 BSU.

Yeah I knew we couldn't go on the road and take one I liked a little of what I saw from Morris, but again I just hate the Jason Campbell delivery.

You know you love that high delivery, especially since it comes out of such a windmill release. Only a 21-0 half-time lead for BSU.

Wow, TCU leads Utah 37-0 now. What a disaster for Utah in their own house.

This is a statement game from TCU, they are a legit title contender and showcasing it. It's going to get very interesting in the future if they join the Big East as many are predicting. The Big East will have a perennial top 20 team, and TCU will be in a big conference.

The kid is only eighteen years old, he showed a lot of promise today and it excites me for Miami's future. Of course, I said this a few years ago about Jacory Harris as well so I am cautiously optimistic.

I could actually see both Central Florida and TCU as top-tier Big East programs within the next several years if they absorbed both.

If LSU can pull off a win against Alabama today it will help both TCU and Boise since Alabama is the top 1-loss major conference team at the moment.

If I were the Big East, I would add TCU and Central Florida. That would add two big markets and allow them to have two divisions with a championship game. (Only having ten teams, they would have to petition the NCAA, but I think the NCAA would go for it because of the dollar signs associated with conference championship games)

LSU just beat Alabama. That's good news for Boise and TCU since Bama was the top ranked 1-loss team.

Also Nebraska just barely beat mediocre Iowa St. in overtime. Doesn't help them any.

This year is a perfect example of why the BCS is so terrible, there are too many great teams this year for only two teams to have a crack at it at the end. LSU is a perfect example if they keep winning. The current system we have is a terrible injustice to fans of the sport.

Yep, doesn't even need to be an especially big tournament either. Eight teams would do. If for example the following 8 teams competed in a tourney for the national title I think most would be happy.

Oregon
Auburn
Boise St.
TCU
Big 12 Champion
Big Ten Champion
LSU
One other team

I couldn't be happier with a scenario such as the one you described Chad, hopefully we'll see it in a couple years. On another note, check out Kellan Moore's statistics today.

If only that guy were a couple inches taller...

TCU QB Andy Dalton's stats were just as good against Utah - 21 for 26, 355 yards, 3 TD/0 Int

And check out Michigan WR Roy Roundtree - 9 catches for 246 yards, 3 TD's Amazingly enough a second Michigan WR broke 100 yards today.

Wonder if my school can make the Top 25 by the end of the season for the first time ever. Right now we're 7-2 with the only losses being very close games to NC St. and Kansas St. Our finaly three games are all near certain wins, so we should be 10-2 heading into the CUSA Title Game. UCF freshman starting QB Jeffrey Godfrey might be the best QB we've had since Daunte Culpepper in the 90's.
