Can't recall if it was you or another who mentioned it froze around the 1:03 mark but unfortunately that was also the case with mine. Even fast forwarding the problem stayed that way through till the end. Had to watch the remainder in 2D with some annoying jitter. Had to reload it again to play in 3D from the beginning and then it still froze at the same point. Amazon refunded my money with no return required.

So because of this apparent manufacturing defect cannot recommend the disc at all.

However, as far as the story goes, we have ourselves a friendly disagreement.

This is a wonderful story brought to life by near reference quality 3D. Held my interest from beginning to end. Would not recommend it for little children because of the violent nature of some of the characters.

It's a shame the disc itself is defective. Otherwise would make a wonderful addition to anybody's 3D collection.

I've owned it since it came out but watched Kung Fu Panda 2 again and it's still one of my favorites. It's a fantastic movie with a strong story and beautiful visuals. The way this film uses color and 3D is very creative. The opening is stylized after Chinese shadow puppets and so there is an intentional flatness, but with subtle depth that really gives it an authentic feeling. And the movie is full of really cool action scenes that are wonderfully framed for 3D. IMO the best Dreamworks movie, even if the HTTYD movies may have better 3D, this film is the best overall.

Went to amazon Germany to see if there was a copy available and this is in one of the reviews.
My LG Bluray player BX580 crashes in section 9 at minute 102:41
and turns off, from section 10 to end everything is fine. On
the other hand, PlayStation 3 has no difficulty.
So maybe try the disc in a different player and report back.

I did try turning off player and starting at the next chapter in 3D with same results. Eventually will try on my other region free player in den hooked up to 3D Video Wizard. But at least I can still watch the last 10 minutes in 2D.

Bought the spanish version of Dragon Ball Z Resurrection 'F' on blu-ray 3D on amazonES and it arrived today.

For those who saw the episodes of Dragon Ball Super it's basically the Freeza/Frieza's arch in the first episodes of the tv show.

The movie is good and has some CGI in it for improvement.

The 3D could have been better. It is flat on some scenes that could have depth or protrusion between background and characters or elements in between them and in other scenes the 3D is well done and really adds to the story. It goes from flat to very good 3D, mostly below mild.

I don't understand... japanese people seem to be really smart and care a lot for what they do and in 3D they do this kind of lame work when they could easily push the limits, after all this is one of their best IP of all times.

The movie is good and the 3D is below average with some scenes having great depth.

The box cover is reversible, the other side of the cover is the Gold Frieza's with black background as seen in other editions.
