The endless cheerleading must stop. If this is what the site's come to, I'm out. It's impossible for -ANYONE- to like every Marvel film equally. That's just crazy talk.

My vertigo is really bad today. I keep bumping into things, especially door frames when I try to walk into another room. Just sitting here at the PC if feels like I am going to shoot off into outerspace.

I am 100% genuine. In fact, I am probably way more forthright here than IRL.

Bought a gallon of vanilla ice cream from Sam’s Club and it’s pretty good. Give or take a week I noticed a weird black/grey color on top. Is that freezer burn? Never saw that before.

Freezer burn is just ice build up from what i have seen throughout my life, a change in color i would think signifies it has gone bad or something else.

Selling codes isn’t what it used to be..

New release codes used to go for $12+ on release day. Now you’re lucky if you get $8-9. People are now using “well it’s streaming” as a reason to try and negotiate a lower price. However, streaming something isn’t the same as owning it digitally. Hell, I even remember catalog codes going for $8+ and now they’re like $4-5. Meanwhile, new releases just keep increasing in cost. New release 4Ks being sold for $32? That was always normal for Disney titles but now it seems normal for a lot of studios.

Collecting physical media sure is getting expensive..

The world works in mysterious ways...upside-down.
This ain't no more what it used to be; I can give you another gazillion examples.
We are lucky to be alive; many don't have that luck.

I have never sold a code for $12 or more, unless it's a "complete TV series" one.

Man, COVID has really done a number on some people psychologically. There are still folks out there who want to walk around with half their faces buried behind masks, and the majority of them are on the young side! They are few but still enough to make me do a double take every time I see them. Even the most paranoid of people I've known personally that still wore masks until recently have stopped. I wonder how much longer they plan on wearing those things.

I got in a big argument with another member over this recently that - of course! - the mods deleted. It's 2023, people. It's OVER, take the masks OFF, breathe FREELY again. If I went into a coma in the summer of 2019 and just woke up now and went out into the world, I would honestly think the (very few) masks I saw on the street were some kind of odd, fading fashion accessory I had missed out on. Even the CDC stopped their scare-mongering months ago. Anyone still masking up and maintaining distance today is diseased in the head.

A few photos from the imploded Titan submersible. I don’t see any carbon fiber which pretty much tells you all you need to know when it comes to the cause.

In some big cities in Canada (East) many people wear a mask.

[Show spoiler]

The carbon fiber is gone (vanished, disintegrated, dilapidated), along with the pilot and its four passengers.

I sold off another huge chunk of my CD/BD collection last week and got over $800 for all of it. I just put $500 worth of Criterions in the shopping cart at Barnes And Noble due to the sell but talked myself out of it and deleted everything. I feel good.

That does feel good.

When you sold the $800 worth, was that online or in person somewhere?
