I like games, but it seems either VR or EPIC Fortnite could ruin playing movies because of its social interaction addiction. The missed work comments show where this could lead.

By the way, have you seen Spiderman: Into The Spider-verse 3D? It’s a very solid transfer that brings the animation to life. The depth is superb in certain sequences.
Have not but will try to put it on my radar.

It’s a very interesting looking feature. Decent film as well.

WebP is a relatively new image format with good compression and image quality, but is not yet supported by all web browsers and image viewers.

You guys are kind of quiet today, here is something to mull over. If we are headed for a Streaming Future, lots of Bandwidth will be needed. California's Governor sees this, and is planning for it! What do you guys think?

Wake me up when Netflix/ Amazon Prime/iTunes/Disney+ are doing at least 50 mbps 4K video streaming and lossless audio. Until then, I have no interest other than watching non-important offerings.

@ gotmule

What is the ceiling height in your home theater? Is your ceiling speakers attached to a ceiling joist? Did you do the install?

That your fantasy with fiber is still elevated. Calm down, nothing happens fast, and please don't move back to California, we are enjoying the fact you are in Utah!

I thought you might apply that to HMO Max more, they can't even do any 4K.

Yes California is great, but "Been there done that." I still have family and friends there, and visit often. I don't have to fantasias about Fiber, I have it. I've had it in my last two Communities, in Palm Desert I made it happen and here in St George I planned for it as part of my move. So you guys keep sleeping, and find out it's already too late!

That's good Ender14, at least you are ready but you should start thinning out that Disc Collection. Those DVD's are getting old!

If we can play UHD and Blu-ray, we can play DVD. Sony and Microsoft just Secured another 15 years of guaranteed playback for all our discs even if they stopped making every player on the planet in five years. I still have my PS3 which came before the last generation. Bottom line, we will always have equipment so why would we worry about our DVD?
