It's one I avoided for a long time due to the rape scene, I had heard it was one of the worst. I eventually gave it a chance. And aside from that scene, the film is a blast. And it's no where near as awful as some more modern scenes like Irreversible. I definitely plan on grabbing the new blu when it's released.

I have the old Blu, so it's going to take a new scan, new extras, or the extras ported over from the DVD for me to double dip.

I guess in this instance I'm glad a street date was missed and nothing else is being released - I owe rent this week.

Understandable. From my what I've seen the old blu had a pretty good transfer anyways. This is great for folks like me who missed out on the original run and didn't want to pay Bill's "oop" prices.

He's gotten a lot of people in the past few weeks dangling that old edition over at the Cartel.

i never upgraded my Scorpion DVD of Savage Streets - looking forward to more details about this issue. if it's just the slipcover, i'll wait for the price to drop

Just finished watching Primal Scream, my first Dark Force disc. Gotta say the transfer looks good and the making-of is great!

The film itself is kind of an entertaining mess. The special effects are amazing for the budget, but the story barely hangs together. Couldn’t explain it if I tried...

But the overall package is terrific and I’m really glad I bought it. Next up, Backlot Murders.

I'll probably just watch it there and pass on this Blu-ray. Not into the Code Red style games.

When they get a lot of orders, they put it into Maintenance mode to catch up. It’ll return shortly. It’s perfectly reasonable.

Dark Force usually takes down site so they can still fulfill orders fast when they start to get overwhelmed, not a game per se.
