A couple I know that still watches physical media, I sometimes bring movies when I visit them. The husband found the protective sleeve on my steelbook to be the funniest thing ever, like he couldn't comprehend it. Of course, they leave both clean and dirty laundry all over the floor and furniture, the kitty litter box sits on the carpet in the middle of one of their kid's rooms and it's never cleaned, and I don't know when the last time was they used a pooper scooper on their back yard.

I graduated from college 30 years ago. I had to pay for all of my college myself. No help from my parents. I joined the Army and received some money from their College Fund, worked 2 jobs, moved back home and kept my spending down just to pay off my debt that I promised to pay.

Is it soo hard for graduates now that they NEED total or even partial forgiveness? I know unemployment is low. Also, not everyone finds a good paying job after graduating (like myself).....so you work 2 jobs to get it done.

In light of all this, I have taught my son to learn a trade in high school. He will end up with a good paying job after graduating with NO student debt for the win. IMO, college is overrated and I wish I learned a trade myself in high school.

IMO Covid changed the name of the ball game.

Amazon raised the free shipping for non-Prime members from $25 to $35. Oh well.....gotta add an additional $10 worth of stuff to get free shipping now.

Just feel bad and disappointed bc 1 of the pawn shops cheated me. This pawn shop doesn't charge tax. And they give $1 per disc. I bought tons there before. All $2 each I'm blu rays. Over the years. Today I had some comics $1 each. And blu rays $2 each. $31 I'm total. Guy says $30 so I handed him 40 got 10 back. Then I say and I'd like to sell these. 8 disc's in total. So it would be $8 bucks. Guy says I discounted them off this. So after telling him blu rays were 2 and comics were 1. For awhile. He looks at avatar extended collection thinknit had 3 or 4 disc's in it. And says we charge per disc. And after looking at Avatar he says unless u want me to charge u more. I bought many there before. Always been $2 each. I feel they gave me $1 discount and took my stuff . Next time I will wait for the other guy to check me out

Ah! You should have hung on to that Avatar set as it contains all 3 cuts!

I just ordered The Twilight Zone series which just dropped to $43. I had the worst luck with the packaging a few years back and returned it. The discs are held in by poorly designed hubs which flex the disc and I even broke a few. Hoping this next set goes better but I plan on placing the discs in a sleeve which should fit into the existing case.

Some parts of the city got inundated but what I find bizarre is why people still get into a car and drive around in that kind of weather. What's so important that you have to go out and risk your life, then need to be rescued by emergency services. It's mindboggling.

Well straight away I'm thinking it won't do their cars any good, driving in those sort of conditions. Surely it's common sense not to go out in those conditions (unless it's a genuine emergency).
