I imagine most people who used all their coins exploiting it that first week wish the hadn't now, I mean, who needs more 290 exotics? Looking back, that was a waste of time and coins....maybe they knew that and wanted us to waste all of our coins on exploiting it?

Yes, I think that's a good idea, too. I do not want to mess around with hard Oryx tonight at all, because I really want to to something fun like drink beer and watch TV or a movie with the wife and fall asleep on the couch. If we're quick enough, I think I could benefit from one Nightfall. Where's Xur today? I'm almost out of coins.

I read that he's near the speaker but haven't personally checked.

Finally got the Touch of Malice today, Stupid Fragments. I also got pulled into the Hard Raid last night, did get the Raid Rocket Launcher at 315 and Boots at 317. Then for the Sisters, I was randomly chosen as the runner 5 unsuccessful times...

I think people are getting bored with this game.
This thread is only active around the weekly reset.

Once I finish off the trophies, I'll be down to Tuesday nights just to run a raid and talk to people.

At this point yes. But I'm sure there will be some kind of big content drop between now and next Fall. I think Bungie is just being quite for the time being while the November game hype dies down.

Other than the new raid, TTK didn't bring much of anything that holds any replay value, and even that is questionable due to the ludicrously bad loot system. That said; the core gameplay is still great, has always been great and will forever be great. This - and my friends - is what keeps me going back to it, despite being bored shitless and completely fed up with putting in the time without being rewarded for it.

This is honestly the least rewarding game I have ever played, and that's all right for a little while....at some point even Destiny has to pay off to remain worth it.

Same here.

Why don't they have raids for the Cosmodrome and Mars?
Seems like a wasted opportunity.
Three different raids just isn't enough.

It was pretty big content, much bigger than the previous expansions and sizeable even compared to the original game. If it lasted three weeks with extensive play, that seems pretty good. Interest in The Dark Below, other than Crota's End, lasted about a morning. The original game maybe six weeks before it was just a grind. But, yeah, a ten year plan is ambitious, and you have to keep stoking the flames for console gamers, so I'm interested to see how they maintain that interest.

I'm finding that playing less than I used to play keeps me interested, and Jason just introduced me to the new Trials of Osiris bounties, so I now have something new to do. I did not know that Bungie changed this.
