Could you do me a favor and provide me with links to these? I'm not finding them at the moment. Thanks.

It's been in the Blu-ray database for about a year year now. Nothing about a release of the Producer's Cut has been revealed to the public yet, and I doubt there even will be.

u would think if any company would be able to release the producers cut it would be echo bridge just because they wouldnt put any effort into it and they would just sneak it out there in those dump bins with no official announcement and probably would be same quality as some of the bootlegs out there i have 2 different bootleg prints.

Seeing is how Echo Bridge is going a good mile to get the original elements to make a new HD transfer of Godzilla Vs. Biollante, I think they can do the same for the Halloween 6 Producer's Cut (if Miramax even have any good masters of it left).

I remember reading on HorrorDigital something about the producers (or the Director) of Halloween 6 wanting to release a legit 'Producer's Cut". The desire is there - this just needs a dedicated distributor willing to go ahead with it.

i'd love a proper release of the producer's cut, i read the negatives needed to make a new transfer are lost, they looked for them a while ago but they weren't where they were supposed to be, can't see it being a priority for the studio, if they ever turn up i'd say they will definitely release it

And as a huge Godzilla fan, I won't be picking up that release. I just KNOW they will screw it up somehow.

Curse is region free with forced subs, the others are region locked. I can remove the region and subs with Anydvdhd on the PC, but stand alone player users will not be so lucky. The French versions of Curse, H:20, and Resurrection are definitely the best looking ones though, so it's a real shame.

Ah, I see. Which one would be a better release? I like that the French version is region free, but I'm not big on the forced subtitles.

I myself would tolerate forced subs since you get original 5.1 audio on that disc and only 2.0 on spanish.

I had wanted to see the Producer's Cut even since I read about it on the internet in mid 1990s. I finally saw it a couple of years ago and I have to say I was not impressed at all. I think super fans have been confusing "different" with "better" all this time.

I assume what most would do in that situation is strip the subs from the video file, after ripping the disc.
