The battle damaged Mark VII is almost OOS now. The price is kinda high for my liking. I'll pass on it and instead focus on Loki. The die cast looks to be better.

Do you think they care in the slightest if you are annoyed? Look at the amount of product they move if it's Iron Man related. They are laughing all the way to the bank thanks to that character.

The franchise makes them money. And, with the Marvel Universe at its current height of popularity and Tony Stark being so prominent a part of that, they are just striking while the IRON is hot (pun fully intended ).

Nope, it's not limited. That's why it already sold out.

I don't think it matters that they ship internationally. If they label it as a U.S. exclusive they can just cancel orders placed outside the U.S. Or it could mean it's only for sale on U.S. based websites.

Just ordered Iron Man Mark I Version 2.0. I should have pulled the trigger on this one months ago. Waiting just ended up costing me more money.

Yep is it sold out. I guess its more limited than the regular HT figure.

Funny reading the complaints from the people on another board who for whatever reason did not get one. Where do people get this amazing sense of entitlement from? I swear people were so spoiled by their parents they go through life thinking they deserve everything they want at their convenience.

You get the greedy speculators. There are those already on the sideshow board saying thing like " I ordered one and used my wife's credit card to order another one but I probably won't keep the second one". Those greedy flippers are not fooling anyone. They bought the second one to flip. People just need to be honest.

Then you get the other type of dishonest people who say they just got the second one to trade. As if that is somehow not as greedy as selling it outright. They paid the $294.99 plus shipping but you know damn well they will not trade it for a figure that is worth $310. They will be looking to trade it for a figure that is equal in value to what ever this is selling for in the after market. People buying for trade are no different from the people buying to sell.

I agree with you. Those kind of people need to get a life.

I do think the figure looks pretty cool but I just didn't see $294 being justified for it honestly. I couldn't bring myself to go for it. Honestly I know they're in it to make money but Hot Toys milks the Iron Man franchise so much it's ridiculous. I'm glad I'm not a collector that's so obsessive that I would ever think I need to own every armor or variant that they've put out. One Iron Man for my collection eventually will be fine.

Also I was looking at some pictures of the T-800 Endoskeleton figure from Hot Toys and that thing is pretty damn cool looking if you ask me. My only issue is that I wish it was in 1/6th scale instead of 1/4th. I think if they ever do a 1/6th version of it eventually I'd go for it.

I can't wait for Iron Man to finally come out so we can move on to Man of Steel, or just anything else. It's usually pretty easy to just ignore what I'm not interested but it's like every time I check my Hot Toys news there's a new Iron Man. I'm kind of starting to lose interest in the Mark VII I've ordered at this point just due to overexposure.

I'm also a little worried about the sub-MMS series pricing being right about where MMS pricing usually hovers. I really hope they're not trying to move MMS figures into DX pricing territory and jacking DX prices up even more.

Yeah if they move towards regular MMS releases being priced at DX prices ($250-275ish) that'll probably be when I call it done with Hot Toys. Certain MMS figures they might be able to justify it for but for the most part I wish they'd price their stuff more around the $200-230 range. I mostly got into the line for Nolan Batman and have basically finished that line except for a few characters that haven't been released (Ra's and Blake are the big ones).

I'd like to see the Man of Steel Superman announced soon too. Hopefully it'll be similar to the DX12 Batman from The Dark Knight Rises and is announced a month or so prior to the film coming out in theaters and possibly released by the end of the year.

I honestly am sort of tired of Iron Man too. I love the character but doing so many armors for him and variants is ridiculous if you ask me. I just sort of wish Hot Toys' obsession over the character would end already as it seems like they've just taken all their focus off of everything else the past few months or so and have just been showing off new Iron Man crap.

The regular Mark VII is also sold out. That is a surprise. Hopefully it comes back in stock when it is released.

I would think it will come back in stock eventually. The regular releases usually seem to take quite a while to sell out.

I get that Iron Man is a big line for Hot Toys and that they want to cash in on the hype of Iron Man 3 but they're really overdoing it if you ask me. I don't recall a new non-Iron Man product announced for the past couple of months. It's sort of ridiculous in my opinion.

I can see Hot Toys sitting on A LOT of stock over the next few years because of their attempt at "striking while the Iron is hot" because of Iron Man 3. Either that or there will be liquidation sales.

Bloody hell. My Catwoman order was pushed again, June now. I seriously hope these Iron Man floods are not the reason for the delay.

Just bought the Christopher Reeve Superman and Michael Keaton Batman to go along with the Mars Attacks Martian Soldier. The Hot Toys collection is rising!
