Sorry, this thread is for the 2021 reboot film, released on disc by Universal - I probably should have pointed that out again to avoid confusion, though.

The idea was that it would skip the credits and jump right into the special features, which autoplay after the credits end anyway. You've got a five second window to grab your remote and choose to continue watching the credits... or at least you did, before (I'm assuming) a firmware update thankfully got rid of that.
