Feels like it is going to digital quite fast, over a month before the physical release.

Both The Bad Guys. The Northman and Ambulance were dropped on digital roughly 17 days after their theatrical release.

Universal has a method. Apparently if the movie opens under 50 million it comes out on digital within 17 days. If it opens over, it's usually five weeks. Up till Jurassic World, the only movie Universal released that opened over 50 million was F9.

However, originally Universal used to only do early rentals. But with the release of, I'd say Ambulance, they've starting doing both early rental and premium (24.99-29.99 purchases).

Oh yeah duh, of course, even in the opening scene still has them mining tons of amber. I knew there was no issue in the slightest.

Don't fall for their trap! DIGITAL INCLUDES downloads, streaming AND DVD, blu-ray, HD DVD, UHD, DVHS, etc. (and for movie audio, some other formats as well at times). They just try to get people to call downloads DIGITAL to make physical media sound like some old fashioned non-digital crappy thing. It's ridiculous to say digital instead of downloads when digital includes a thousand different things.

This seems confusing and nobody seems to be clear is it going to amazon Prime as in you don't have to purchase it the movie will be one of their Prime movies? Also very weird the release date of the 4K is now saying December 2022 can't believe it's that late.

I don't think there's any way that it will be available on Prime without purchase. It'll probably only be as a rental if it shows up on there.

Thanks I agree it will be a purchase I just hope the physical release isn't December that would be disappointing if it's that late but that's what's showing on amazon for blu ray and DVD too.

I wouldn't put much stock into the dates on Amazon. The German release is supposed to be next month and the Italian and French releases are at the end of October so I'd expect a US release somewhere between those dates.

not sure anything worthwhile will be added as most of the extended cut is just the prologue added back in

Not exactly. It’s 14 minutes of extra footage. The opening is only 5 of that which leaves another 9 minutes of additional footage. Might not seem like a lot but a fair amount can be added with 9 minutes.

I have the Blu-ray trilogy set with the statue, and the first JW with the statue. Will I be getting the UHD 6-film set with the statue? Damn right!

The dinosaurs themselves have always been clones. How is a human clone any less believable in this universe?

It's a dumb movie in which dinosaurs are the least important thing, that's my problem, I didn't said it's unbelievable.

Thanks I hope that's not the right date but I thought the same thing for TMNT Cowabunga collection thought it was a placeholder date it's looking like that might be the actual date. If it's coming out in other countries soon then I bet like you said maybe somewhere in between those ones.

Funny coming from someone who is evidently a fan of a movie where the main character of his own movie is the most short changed.

Well then, take it from me because I felt the same way.

I don't know why they chose to make The Locust World: Jurassic Park. Furthermore, it saddens me that this was apparently always Colin Trevorrow's plan with the trilogy. For the bad ending that Fallen Kingdom was, all would've been forgiven if we got to see dinosaurs on the mainland (which is why I keep pining for Battle at Big Rock alongside the prologue to be a part of the extended cut).
