Can-Am= the best. I have just a regular quad for plowing. If you got a sidexside would you even be able to transport it? Maybe you should stick with a scooter and relive your time in Rome.

Does anyone know what the purpose of having a Friends list on this site is? Or sending out Friend requests? I've received lots of friend requests over the years and have accepted them all but then I never hear from those people ever again. Some even disappear and/or stop posting. It's so weird.

Remember MySpace? It’s kinda like that. The feature was more popular on here back in the day but I think it lost its appeal.

It is silly though to send a request and never reach out. You can always unfriend people. I’ll generally ignore a request if the username is unknown to me. I use it as a shortcut if I want to interact or discuss some films, via PM with a member.

Been waiting for this to go on sale but didn’t realize I’ll need to purchase a new homebase for $150..

I don't know what's happened to a couple of the members on my friends list (they both don't appear to have posted for some time, but with one of them I may have a good guess of why). Extra puzzling when they're some of the people I've got on with on here.

You get used to a group of people on here (the people you get on with and build up a good rapport with, and some who I do my best to avoid, the unmentionables). I have to wear glasses when using a computer, watching the TV etc., so I don't have any problems being able to see that I've received a private message from someone. Usually, when I send someone a PM I receive a reply, and if that person takes a while to respond they explain themselves perfectly. What I don't 'get' is when I send someone a PM and don't get a response (I just think it's plain rude and bad manners). Unless it's a sock account and something suspicious, I will reply. If it's from a genuine account here I will get round to replying, this being caused by the fact I can't get on here until nighttime.

Some people act like the way to get ahead in life is to be bad to others and put others down. And occasionly, when I feel like I have been targeted by someone or some people (like what has happened on and off during the past few weeks on here), I've sent them a PM asking for an explanation..no response. I think it's rather sad that some think they've achieved something in life when they try and get a response out of someone.

Personally, I don't see the point in having hundreds (or what seems like it) members on a friends list. I prefer a small group of people on the list. And don't feel disheartened Cinema, there are some people on here who have sent you a friend request who would keep in touch (ie. sent a private message).

Got a good idea of why a series of posts were removed from the main Severin Films thread around the middle of this week (around Wednesday time). Probably because it was about the problem of the sock accounts on here (some people were posting their experiences of the problem on here). I think it's been going on for something like a year or two years.

Zavvi keeps going back and forth when it comes to shipping to the US. The Leon set is back in stock but of course you’ve gotta be in the UK to receive it. Such rubbish considering I got The Fifth Element a few months ago with no issues.

The first quality pair is easy to find. The Los Angeles metropolitan area has several Allen Edmonds flagship stores.

The factory seconds, however, can only be purchased at Allen Edmonds shoe bank stores. The shoe banks are only for store purchases in Wisconsin near Port Washington and online only otherwise.

AE has a 60 day return policy for all online and store purchases.
Those sound like some really nice shoes but how do you go from an off-road vehicle to a pair of shoes? lol

Well that's the other thing, since I don't have a truck, I would need a little trailer to haul a quad or a dirt bike. I don't know if my little Mazda would be able to pull a trailer carrying a SxS. Because of my bike rack, I do have a hitch already installed on my car but it's only a 1.25" and I'd probably need a 2" to haul a trailer.

Those things do look badass though.

Oh and you mentioned me reliving my time in Rome. I've never been to Italy before except the one time I crossed the border from Austria and drove for like a kilometer lol

Do you have pictures of your quad plow?

I forgot to comment on your Spy gif. I've only seen the movie once I think and that was back in the theater but I remember finding it quite funny. I'll have to watch it again soon.

I haven’t watched it in a while either. Pretty funny though.

Here’s the quad.

It’s quite fast being 800cc. I like the yellow on it. Reminds me of Baywatch!

I actually would like to sell it because I want a SxS.

haha nice to remind you of something so...bountiful

And you want a SxS too? **** you because I know you'll get one before me

I'm pretty sure I saw the Tesla pickup yesterday. I think it was the first time that I had seen one. I was at the bank and it was on the other side of El Camino Real with a car blocking it so I didn't get a good view of it. But I'm quite sure it was their pickup. And I did see two Aston Martins while cruising through Woodside.

I just finished my X-mas shopping for everyone and it feels great to have it done with. Also, got may dad's birthday in early December out of the way.

I was in NJ and saw a Ferrari today but it was the California which is the cheapest one. Still nice though. I guess the Rivian truck is popular now.

Yeah the SxS is like driving a car and they handle great. I’m in no rush..I need to get a new car next year which sucks because I don’t want a payment.

My 4K Steelbook of Dirty Dancing arrived with some “light” damage. It’s the usual Lionsgate Best Buy exclusive with the outer plastic slipcover but she came all shattered in certain areas.

Sold out in my area but still available online. Do I go for another one? Replacement could arrive even worse. Tough call. Blu-ray is also scratched!

Hearing people use "irregardless" in conversation make me cringe. Just say "regardless" weirdo!

Quote:
Irregardless was popularized in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its increasingly widespread spoken use called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that "there is no such word." There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead.
